Mackenzie Wilson lost her parents two years ago. Depression is slowly kicking in but she is trying to stay tuff for her little sis. A boy takes a particular interest in her and she doesn't know how to take it.
Daniel POV I was walking out of class and saw that Mackenzie had a bunch of papers fall out her locker. But she didn't pick them up. She kicked them to the side , took her books, and left. When she left I picked up one of the papers. Go die and leave this school because nobody wants you here. That's why you have no friends you lowlife. Another one said Your fat, stupid, ugly, smelly, and weird. But underline that ugly part. You should really get some surgery to fix that. All of these notes are so mean. And she was acting like it was nothing. Wow. I started walking to my locker and saw my girlfriend (Kalani) throwing a book at Macks head. Mack sat down on the floor and wrapped her hands around her head. I ran to help her up and shot a really dirty glance at kalani. She looked at me and I just shock my head while walking Mackenzie to the nurse. I dropped her off and ran back to class. When I walked in the teacher told me to take a seat next to Kalani. I really didn't want to speak to her. She kept calling my name and poking at. "Come on she deserved it!" she said. " what could she have possibly done to you? " I asked. " she's just weird and doesn't belong here."Kalani said leaning on my shoulder. I pushed her off and said" 5 months ago you were the new kid just like her." I stopped talking to her for the rest of the period. Mackenzie POV I was walking out of the nurse and saw my only friend Jacob. We talked for a little bit and I explained what happened. He got really mad but I told him not to because I'm used to it. The bell rang which meant it was time to leave. Jacob asked me if I could have came over but I said that I had to do some stuff at home and pick up my little sister. He said okay and we hugged and said bye. I picked up my little sister and she apparently made a lot of new friends. That made me feel better. When I got home my aunt was passed out on the couch. She drinks a lot. I wish my other aunt adopted me. Any way it was my job to start cooking. I made lasagna and cut a small piece for myself because I don't really eat a lot. I cut a bigger piece for my sister and left the rest for when my Aunt wakes up. The door bell rang and she woke up to answer it. It was her last husband dropping off money. He does this every 3 weeks. He is filthy rich but only gives us $200. I told my aunt that her food was in the microwave. I turned on my phone (that my other aunt pays for because this one can't afford chiz ) and saw that I had a text message from Jacob. It said that he wanted to go to the park. I said okay but only for 20 min. When I got there he was standing there on his phone. I covered his eyes but he know it was me immediately. I gave him a hug and asked what's up. He said " I just missed my best friend and it hurts me to see you get bullied." I smiled at him and we started to walk around. I told him about all the note in the locker and he got really mad. Again. He said that a pretty girl should not have those things said to her. I had to hug him after that."you are the first boy to every say that to me." I said. "That's because it's true." he whispered in my ear."watch. Do me a favor and take a selfie right now." I pulled out my phone took one.
