Chapter 5

"Hey, what are you doing? Let go of me!" I exclaimed, my face burning with anger. "I need to talk to you." He said, I grunted. "Yeah, sure. And did it occur to you, that talking to me is easier than lying to everyone that I'm your girlfriend?" I ask, he sighs. "I know, I'm sorry." He says, I rolled my eyes. "What do you want anyway?" I asked, he grimaced. "Your adopted parents might be in danger." He said, I froze. "Wh..Wh..a." he looked at me, we where in a secluded part of the school. "Lets go." He said, and a black shadow engulfed us.

--a few moments laytar--

We arrived at the foot of my house. It was all normal but the degree of air that surrounds the house dropped a couple of degrees. Nico shifted beside me as he withdraw a sword in his side. "Where the fuck did you get that?" He smirked at me. "Language."

We entered the house, though I was thankful that Aunt Viola is out, the missing car in the front yard indicated that.

"What are we doing?!' I whispered. "Sneaking in, There's a monster here out to get you." He said, still focused. "Cover me, Kay?" He says, I silently nodded. Scratching noises then came from the living room. I shook on my stance.

"Well, well. Look at what we got here?" A hoarsed voice said, I cringed when two more scratches and thumps where on our back.

"Two Demi gods.. The son of Hades and the daughter of..."
It walked towards us and Oh my God! Bleaugh!! It was Ugly! Calm your tits girl, maybe it's friendly on the inside. I mean, never judge a book by it's cover, right?

"Who's daughter are you again?" It asked, I looked at it with a "are you even serious" face.

"I don't know." I bluntly said, it smiled grimly. Two other monsters appeared on our back.

"Well, I don't care. We Are going to eat you anyway" it said, and smiled with it's sharp teeth proudly showed. I shivered. Nico clutched his sword and furrowed his eyebrows. He then leaped and fell into war with the leader of the monsters.

I froze. My hands shaking. Two other monsters with their teeth clenched with sharp hunger came charging towards me, I panicked and dodged the blow, hiding somewhere behind the couches. Three of them are now slowly hunched behind Nico trying to outwit him. I cried soft tears, what am I gonna do?

I glanced back at Nico, a monster slashed his arm, leaving trickles of blood on the floor.

"Wh.. what." I softly said, Nico is protecting me. Why would he? Nico was slashed on his back again. I looked at him with horror as the monsters cackled in excitement. "Where's your pretty demigod girlfriend now, son of Hades?" The leader of the monsters said, Nico grunted.

"Right here, motherfucker."

What? My body was now moving on it's own. What the fuck... it was like.. before. It was coming back again. No.

I whiped my hands and 3 silver string where laid out for me and a glowing silver dagger appeared on my right hand.

"Sayonara, motherfuckers."

I then cut their strings off ending their life. All of them dropped dead and exploded in a thousand of fire work explosion.

I breathed out, tears spilling out of the corners of my eyes.
Raven crawled towards me and brought a hand towards my shoulder.

"You okay?" He asks, I solemnly nodded.

"You know, I have to ask you something." He says, I looked at him with confusion.

"I know this is sudden and all..but.."

My heart pounded, is he going to say something I think he's going to say?!
