Prologue
Tokyo, Japan,
1973
Rya watched the green colored latern swing wildly.
The cold gust of wind hit her face.
She shivered, as she glided in her red colored kimono towards the doors. She blinked her green colored eyes, as she wondered whether she needed to stay at her Uncle's house.
She put her brown colored slippers on.
"Konnichiwa!".
She bowed, as she saw the elderly woman.
She was sitting on a bed.
She didn't speak.
"Konnichiwa!".
Still the old woman stared into the walls in her room. A lamp illumed the beds. Rya made sure the sheets were straightened before the warm rays of the Japanese sun hit the cream colored blinds; the sun filled her with happiness.
And then she heard footsteps.
And, to her shock, the woman gasped for the final time...then died in her sleep.
