Rya was talking to Aiki.
"Do your homework, ok".
"Yes, Miss Rya".
"Good girl. You got a A++. Tell your parents the good news". And she skipped with glee...and told them that she'd passed her English test.
Seneto knocked on the door.
"Kei is dead".
"What do you mean, dead?".
"She came to your house this afternoon. She saw ghosts. She died by being frozen like ice". His hands shook.
Mister Tamaka, the Principal, walked to them.
"Miss Rya, is there anything wrong?".
"Yes, a family member died".
"Another one...That's two in two days".
"Mister Tamata, that is unusual. But we're dealing with it".
"Because you've done well this term...you may have the day off".
"Yes, Mister Tanata", and Rya bowed. Then left the school grounds with Kei's husband. And vowed to end the horror before night fall.

The house was dark; too dark.
"The ghosts come at any time".
"The portal must be closed".
"Then we'll do a séance. We need candles, lamps, and a table".
"Let's go to the Lounge room".
And, as they prepared, the sound of unearthly whispered disrupted their thoughts.
Once they were seated, Rya spoke.
"We're here to ask all spirits to go out of this house...and head to the Otherworld. Those spirits who don't belong in the cemetery...must be gone...I command it!".
And, suddenly, loud banging caused them to block their ears with their hands. Doors banged; windows smashed from the inside; and the chandelier swayed.
"We close the portal. It wasn't closed before because our family members...and friends...forget to do so...and transgressed upon the dead's domain...
..."Please go now...and be at peace...We shall not bother the dead again".
More loud banging.
Then a cold, blood chilling demonic voice spoke...as the temperature dropped to 4 degrees.
"What is done is by order of Satan....The human sacrificed herself to our ways...And we have her soul; we have all souls here...She brought all souls to the human World because she didn't understand the price of evil.
"It is not us who suffer...but humans. We do what is needed because we survive on death. Consequently, the portal is never closed. Unless you bargain for your lives...and I'll close it for now. Understand".
"Name the price?", Rya enquired.
"The blood of your right finger".
"Agreed!".
And Rya moved towards the demon.
It gripped a demonic knife in its cold, bony right hand.
And cut it deep.
"Owwwwww!!!!!".
The demon clapped six times.
And a Japanese goblet appeared.
The blood splashed into it.
"Drink it!".
And Rya did as it told her.
"Good! Now, the price is done".
And then it whispered a tune...and then a portal appeared.
It was massive.
Then, within ten long minutes, all of the dead souls screamed....and went inside the portal. They were now sucked into the eternally, bleak abyss, and left Rya's house for the last time...with Satan himself. Once they left, other spirits from the cemetery also were dragged into the portal...as the smash of glass scarred their transparent bodies...and they then vanished into the void.
They left Rya's house for the last time.
They didn't speak.
Both of them reached her car.
And they closed the door, put their seatbelts on, and drove to Beijing. And left the horror alone for other people to deal with.
