Ch-8 Confrontation

       

Feliciano was walking with his brothers in the capital city. They were buying jewelry and a wedding dress for Feliciano. He was dressed in an elegant looking pink wedding dress. He actually liked the look of this wedding dress. He looked in the mirror and noticed the scarred over bite mark resting on his neck. He didn't like the feeling the settled in his stomach when he looked at the mark. He felt sick and he felt the feeling of bile rising in his throat.

"We will have to postpone the wedding." Feliciano says.

"Why?" Adriano asks. He was helping his brother out of the dress as Lovino talked with the lady at the counter. When Feliciano listened in he realized Lovino was talking the lady into giving them the wedding dress at a lower price. Lovino had always been good at that sort of thing and it showed when the lady gave them the dress for 1000 roupes less.

"I have to leave tomorrow to attend a coronation." Feliciano says. Adriano nods before letting an omega take the dress and neatly place it in a box before handing it over to Lovino. The three omegas leave the shop and head to a jewelry store where Lovino bought some bracelets and necklaces for the wedding.

"Lovino we have to postpone the wedding." Feliciano says.

"No." Lovino replies as they hop in a carriage and begin to head back to the castle.

"Why not? I have to attend the Queen of Diamonds' coronation." Feliciano turns to look at his brother.

"I can't risk postponing the wedding." Lovino says. Feliciano sighs. Now days it seemed like it was all about Lovino, once upon a time Lovino had always put Feliciano and Adriano first.

"I can't risk missing the coronation." Feliciano snaps. He had lost his patience with his older brother. Adriano shuffled away from the pair as Lovino turned to look at Feliciano. The two omegas stared each other down.

"Yes you can, no one is forcing Ludwig or Kiku to take you to the coronation. My child's life is on the line." Lovino snarled. His green eyes had turned dark as he glared at his brother. Feliciano blinked in shock.

"Why didn't you tell Gilbert?" Feliciano asks. Lovino felt angry tears fall down his face.

"Because Gilbert has disappeared! I've spent days calling out to him at all different times yet he doesn't come. Alistair hasn't made it any easier with his outrageous demands. The stupid alpha wants the wedding to be on the specific date, he wants you to wear lots of jewelry, he wants you to wear a dress and he wants it to the colour pink to be a certain shade. You were lucky that the dress you liked was the correct shade." Lovino rubbed his eyes. Feliciano frowned and hugged his brother.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" Feliciano questions and Lovino sighs.

"I didn't want you to be stressed out or even more scared. Trust me Alistair will be good for you but he doesn't care about me so he's treating me like this." Lovino says.

"I'll see if Luddy can get in contact with Gilbert." Feliciano says and Lovino nods. The small 10 year old girl from Clubs clung to the back of the carriage. She had figured out that the carriage was heading to the Castle of Hearts after noticing the Jack of Hearts entering it. She had heard their entire conversation and as she jumped off the back of the carriage and ran into the bushes she wrote in her small book the information and ripped the page out before finding a messenger and giving the beta a few roupes to get the message to the King of Clubs. She looked over the cuts and bruises she'd gained from jumping off the carriage. Walking through the thick forest that surrounded the castle she finally found what she was looking for. She climbed the tree of slowly edged her way out over a branch that went over the fence into the castle grounds. She dropped down and hurried into the bushes as she waited to slowly make her way around. She noticed the King of Hearts walking in the gardens alone and she waited for him to get a little closer before starting to cry.

"Are you alright?" Ludwig asks when he finds the small omega crying. She had cuts and bruises on her.

"The mean alpha hurt me!" She cries and Ludwig frowns. He quickly picks the small girl up and carries her inside the castle. He takes her to the medical room and waits as the doctor patches up her bleeding cuts and puts some ointment on the large bruises that covered her ribs. Feliciano burst through the door and ran over.

"Luddy! Can you contact your brother Gilbert? Lovino is trying to contact him but like most Jokers he's just disappeared." Feliciano says and the girl reminds herself to tell the King about that information.

"Alright I'll see what I can do. Now you young lady should get some rest, you look very tired. You can tell me later about this mean alpha." Ludwig stands and walks outside. He walks into the forest and calls out for Gilbert. It seemed to take a long time before there was a poof of black smoke and Gilbert was there.

"Where have you been?" Ludwig asks.

"I've been trying to find out what is going on with Clubs." Gilbert says. That was when Feliciano appeared, dragging Lovino along with him. Gilbert spotted Lovino and gave him a big smile.

"I apologize for not-" Gilbert was cut off with a large slap to the face. Feliciano and Ludwig looked at Lovino with a surprised look.

"You have no idea the stress I've been put through! Your child is in danger and all you've done is left me to be bossed around by a stranger!" Lovino cried. Gilbert looked at Lovino in surprise.

"What? Maria is in danger?" Gilbert asks.

"What is going on here?" Alistair appeared on top of a horse. He must have been out riding before coming across the small gathering.

"That man has threatened to kill her! You have done nothing! I spent days calling out to you and I you never came." Lovino pointed at Alistair. Within seconds Alistair was pinned beneath Gilbert. The Jokers' hand constricted around the red-headed alpha's neck.

"If you lay a finger on Lovino or Maria I will personally hunt you down and painfully kill you." Gilbert growls threateningly. Alistair was in shock. He knew that Maria was not Antonio's child but he never expected her father to be a Joker. Alistair just nods and Gilbert releases him before moving to hold Lovino in his arms.

"I'm sorry, I was trying to find out what was going on with Clubs. They've started turning ships away and Roderich is ignoring me." Gilbert says. Ludwig frowns and nods.

The small girl hid in the treetops as she wrote down all the information she had just gathered.
