This is it! I'm finally moving to California! My long awaited dream has finally come! Carry Nation Academy, here I come!
I'm already in the 7th grade and I still can't believe mom allowed me to finish my school years in California - as an advance birthday gift though AND for being at the top of my class. Well, it still saddens me I'm leaving Kendall here in New York. She was my ONLY bestfriend since kindergarten.
*Phone Vibrates*
It says message from Kendall. I'm really gonna miss her.
"Abigail! Be there in 10!"
"What now? I'm busy packing. I will miss you though :("
"Stop talking nonsense :P I'm on my way! I HAVE PIZZA."
"Fine. Spend the night with me? I'll prepare my face masks AND LET'S MAKE THIS THE BEST NIGHT OF OUR LIFE! It's my last day in NY :("
" *thumbs up emoji* "
Thumbs up? I hate that emoji. Is she really going to miss me that much? I smirked. I continued packing my things up in the next 10 minutes and then Kendall came.
I went to the living room of me & my mom's apartment and saw Kendall with 2 boxes of pizza with a mini travelling bag.
I hugged her to death as soon as she walked in and whispered "I will miss you."
"Ugh, why are you so being melodramatic!? I'm getting sick of it already." She shouted.
"W-Why? Aren't you going to miss me?" I nervously asked her.
"No." Kendall answered with one eyebrow raising.
"Why not?! Aren't we friends? Shouldn't you miss me because I-I'm leaving?!" I turned around waiting for a response. I can't believe her! We've been friends for years! Is this seriously what I get for giving her long lasting friendship?
Finally, she responds...
"Why am I going to miss you when..." Kendall continues...
"WHEN WHAT NOW? WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?" I said angrily, not giving her a chance to finish her sentence.
"See? You're being melodramatic again. You're not even letting me finish my sentence." She said while stroking her hair
"Okay! I'm sorry. What were you saying?" I finally said. Calmly. But still disappointed.
"Before I say this, remember to chill. Always. You get angry so fast. It's not good for your health. Now, Are you ready to get your mind blown?" She adds.
"JUST SAY IT ALREADY!" I said. I'm already eager.
"CHILL. I JUST TOLD YOU TO CHILL." She repeats.
"Just tell me already. Why are you being so suspicious?" I added.
"Okay, here it is.........."
LONG PAUSE
"I'M GOING TO LOS ANGELES AND STUDY WITH YOU IN CARRY NATION ACADEMY (CNA)!" She finally said! I'm exhausted with all the talking.
