Amber Moon Swan stood by the mirror looking at his shirtless body top-down, sideways, back and front again. The working out sessions he has been taking at the gym with Ero - Hunter 's oldest boy - were, finally, starting to show. His arms were starting to inflame, too. At least the pain was worth the results. And more important the pimples on his face were gone, for good. Well at least, as long as I keep myself away from chocolate, he gathered bringing his red eyes closer to the mirror.

Amber Swan wasn't particularly known for the way he looks, or the way he dressed, like Matt - Snow White and Prince Charming's son - famous for walking around shirtless, nor for the way he talked.

Life wasn't fair between Royals and Plebeians, but being a Royal wasn't always as charming as Plebeians thought neither. However, this year Amber was going to win the competition to the Fall Season Dance Festival, he knows it, and he would not be denied for the dance again. If fact he would open the ball with the prettiest Princess in the Academy For Royals, but as I just said, Ambar is not particularly famous for his speaking skills.

Either way, all he really wanted to do was to have the first dance. The thing he loves the most, and yet, anybody ever asked him on a dance. He was Amber Moon Swan, his mother was Odette, the Swan Queen - the biggest dancer by all Fairy Tales and know beyond the Enchanted Forest - thus the root was strong.

Speaking of which, the mysterious piano player was late.

This is new.

Swan look at the clock hanging over the stone wall. Midnight.

The young man drifted away towards the large open-air-porch. He could spot the light of the Plebeians School further in the distance, way beyond the sea-like-forest that divided both of the Academies. Swan took a deep breath landing his eyes on the bright moon slightly above his head. He stood there for a while.

Silence.

No music. No noise. Just the sound of the wind gently blowing the treetops.

He walked away. About middle way through the veranda. Then Amber stopped and made the splits position, pressing his chest against the leg right in front of him. Then he starts dancing. The music was in his mind... the music of the mysterious pianist.

No one knew who it was. Everybody at the Academy For Royals - Swan included - was pretty much convinced it was a Princess for the courtesy put on the task. However, there was some students sustaining the rumors that it was a boy all along, based on the argument that there were guys signed up for Music Class.

Sawn had in mind a clear picture of a short innocent-looking girl with blond curly-hair, dressed in a blue long dress and a crown of flowers upon her head, dancing barefoot, like himself.

The wind blow, pacing with Amber's emotions. His brown and orange feather-hair scratching his face and neck all over. He didn't care though. He kept dancing. Each moving more compelling than the one before.

Then he listened it.

The piano was playing. It's music bared his emotions. Loneliness, rebellion... passion. The same feelings Swan put into his dance.

After a few minutes the piano stopped. Amber was tip toeing on the edge of the balcony of the open-air-porch. He opened his eyes, allowing himself to cut through the silence and fly to the forest.

Amber glow back to human form and sprinted through the forest, straight to where the music come from. He jumped the high roots, duck under the low branches and he never stop running.

Amber spotted a river.

He high speeded, jumping as high into the sky. Then, right before his toes break into the edge of its surface he shifted into a swan and flew over the river, as the pianist faded his emotions to joy.
