Part 37

"Hey Asha wanna come to the beach with us?" My cousin Lauren asks with her friends Sally and Amanda.

"Erh maybe she shouldn't come" Amanda says.
"Yea" Sally says snickering.
Lauren rolls her eyes and mouths me a SORRY.

I nod and walk out of the kitchen, to my room, as I jog upstairs my Aunty stops me.

"Asha"
"Yes"
"You should go out" she begs.
"Maybe later" I lie.
"You always say that! Get some fresh air make some friends it's not good to be stuck up in your room all the time"
"Fine" I mumble.
"Good girl, do you need some money?"
"Yes please" I ask sweetly.
"Here's 50" she hands it to me.
"Thanks!"

I go upstairs put on a sweater and jeans and sneakers I tip out some of my savings and work money and shove it into my purse with a total of $1000 and walk to the local shops, to the travel agent.

"A ticket for California as soon as possible" I ask.
"$250 dollars leaves at 4"
"Great I'll take it!" When I finish that I go and buy a few new outfits.

I go back and it's already 12.
"Hey, I'm going to Cali" I say to my aunt taking a bite from an apple.
"When?!?" My aunt asks alarmed.
"Today at 4 " I reply.
"Are you sure?! Do you need me to come?!"!
"No thanks, but would it be too much to ask for you to come to the airport with me?" I ask.
"Not at all, we will leave at around 2 or 3, how long are you going?"
"I'm not sure, it depends"
"Alright better get packing!"
I nod.

I pull out a suitcase and pack, clothes, shoes and everything I'll need.

For the flight because it's a bit chilly here I wear some white jeans with a black singlet and a grey jacket with my white air maxes.

I grab a small backpack and put my MacBook in with my charger, gum and everything else I'll need including $6000 extra dollars I found.

I walk downstairs and pack my stuff in the car.

Lauren and her friends come back and notice me putting my stuff in the car.

"What are you doing?" Amanda asks.
"I'm going back to Cali"
"Why?" She asks.
"I need a break" I reply
"Oh okay we'll see you later than I guess"
"Yeah whatever where's Lauren?" I snap.

"I'm right here!" She smiles.
I hug her tightly.
"I'm going to Cali, thanks for everything so much I'll see you soon!" I squeeze her.
"I'll miss you!" She smiles.
"Likewise sweetie!
I sit in the car and we make it to the airport I grip my ticket tightly.

We walk through everything and security and everything.
"Thanks so much for everything! I'll see you soon! I love you!" I say to my aunt Kissing her cheek.
"No problem have fun say hi to your brother and everything"
"Will do!" I smile.
