Same Love (A Dantana Story)

It was Santana's turn to lock up the diner and she had just finshed wiping down the tables, when she saw someone had left there phone on the counter by the cash register. She picked the phone up and saw Dani kissing the cheek of some guy on the lock screen, she slammed it down on the counter with a sad look on her face. She felt a little jealousy and anger inside she wanted Dani and the thought of another guy with her instead of her made her feel sick inside. Santana knew she would never have a chance with Dani because she was straight

Santana first met Dani when she started working at the diner a few months ago, Dani's smile and her dark brown eyes caught santana's attention straight away and her cute little laugh. Santana and Dani have become really close friends over the past few months, but what Dani doesn't know that Santana wants to more than friends. Dani is well aware that Santana is a lesbian because Santana came out and told her straight away not long after meeting becuase she didn't want to hide anything from this girl because she really liked her.

Santana got her coat grabbed Dani's phone and locked the diner doors behind her. Dani's apartment was about 12 blocks away from the diner so Santana thought fuck it I might aswell go give her phone back instead of waiting until I see her at work tomorrow because she must be freaking out about losing it. Santana just wanted any excuse to go see dani because that girl was always on her mind.

she walked up to her appartment and pressed dani's buzzer which was buzzer B, she hears dani's voice, just hearing dani's voice made her stomache flutter and shivers go up her spine.

"Dani it's me san i've got your phone you left it at work"

"oh my god thanks san your a life saver, come right up"

Dani unlocks the door and santana fixes her hair in the refelction and walks upstairs to Dani's apartment 4D

Dani opened the door to a smiling santana. dani was still in her work uniform but her hair was down and messed up abit and it looked really cute. "What are you so happy about" Dani says "nothing, can't I smile for no reason" santana says back "not when you're santana lopez" they both laugh and Santana hands demi her phone. To be honest Santana couldn't help but smile when she was in Dani's company. Suddenley that smile is wiped when she sees the guy that she saw on Dani's lock screen come out of Dani's room.

"who's your friend" the guy says

Dani turns around suprised "oh um josh this is Santana"

"nice to meet you Santana, i'm Josh Dani's boyfriend" he says walking towards her offering his hand for Santana to shake

Santana shakes his hand with a firm tight grip "hi" Santana just wanted to wipe that smug smile of his face

"so you're the famous Santana, Dani doesn't stop talking about you and how funny you are" he says

Santana blushes "oh am i dani" she looks at Dani and Dani's cheeks have gone bright red

"I have to go Dani so i'll see you tomorrow or something " he kisses Dani quickly on the lips "and nice meeting you Santana" josh says as he walked out the door

Santana and Dani stood in silence for a second, then Santana broke the silence "so you can't stop talking about me then Dani " she says playfully looking into Dani's eyes. Dani slaps Santana on the arm and tells her to shut up.

"anyways thanks for bringing my phone I really appreciate it" Dani says while putting her hand on Santana's shoulder. Santana looks down at Dani's hand which is placed on her shoulder, Santana bites her bottom lip and looks back at the shorter girl standing infront of her. Dani stares into Santanas eyes, Santana pulls demi in by the waist and then she crashes her lips against Dani's. Dani returns the kiss deepening it and cupping santana's face with her hand softly.The butterflies in Santana's stomache were going crazy by this point, But then Dani quickly pulls away, realising what has just happened.

"what the fuck are we doing?. I have a boyfriend and i'm straight.....well I thought I fucking was.,,GET OUT SANTANA JUST LEAVE!"

Santana looks at Dani with a hurt look on her face and storms out slamming the door behind her.
