Same Love (A Dantana Story)

Dani opened her eyes. It was 7am and her shift at the diner started in 45 minutes. She couldn't stop thinking about what happend the night before. Dani looked to her left and saw her boyfriend lying peacefully next to her. She felt nothing but guilt. Josh was a nice, funny and smart guy and dani really did like him, but that kiss with santana was so amazing. It made Dani feel something different inside something that she has never felt when she kissed Josh. Dani jumped out of her bed and headed for the bathroom to get ready for work. She wanted to be out of the apartment before josh woke up so she didn't have to look him in the eye.

Walking through the double doors of the diner Dani was welcomed by gunthers voice "you're late lopez, next time you're out!." Dani nodded and mouthed the word "sorry" and walked into the kitchen and put on her apron. She looked around the diner for Santana and couldn't see her anywhere, she knew she was working today because she always works on the same day as her except for thursdays and it was a tuesday.

"gunther, where's Santana today?" Dani shouts over to him

"she phoned in sick so do less talking and do more working, we're short of staff."

Dani sighed and went over to take the order of this creepy looking man that was sitting in the corner of the diner.

Dani was on her lunch break when she felt a vibration from her phone in her pocket. She looked at the screen and saw a text from Santana saying "meet me at my apartment now! we need to sort this out." Dani felt a sudden flutter in her stomache, she didn't know what Santana was going to say to her after she shouted at her like that.

Dani walked up to Santana's apartment which she shared with two of her friends, Kurt and Rachel. Dani stood by the door composing herself before she knocked. Dani finally knocked on the door after a few minutes. Santana opened the door with a straight look on her face. She walked slowly towards the couch and sat down, Dani closed the door behind her and followed with a sorry look on her face.

"so i'm guessing Rachel and Kurt are at NYADA" Dani says awkwardly

"no they've gone to the moon...Of course they're at fucking NYADA ?." Santana says angrily

"wow san there is no need to be such a bitch about it!"

"well you were the fucking bitch last night when you told me to get out like that." Santana gets up from the couch clenching her fists

Dani stood up with her, looking down at her hands "I was just so confused, I didn't know what to do..like I just kissed my besfriend who is a girl and it felt amazing and I felt something that i have never felf before for anyone and I just wanted to kiss you all day and night and it took me all the might in the world to pull away and everything just got so weird and all i'm trying to say is i- Santana interrupted by putting her finger over dani's mouth. Santana crashes her lips against Dani's, Dani kisses back immediantly deepening the kiss and wrapping her hands around Santana's neck. The latina pushes Dani onto the couch with a fierce look in her eyes. She crawls on top of the blonde haired girl whispering into her ear "you don't know how long i've been waiting for this." Her and dani's lips meet again, their tongues battling for dominence. Dani smiles against Santana's mouth so she can catch her breath. Dani rips of her jacket and throws it on the floor, Santana starts to suck on her neck when dani's phone rings from inside her pocket and interrupts them. Santana lets out a big sigh.

"oh shit it's gunther" dani says panicking as she goes to answer the phone

"DANI YOU WERE MEANT TO BE BACK AT WORK 1 HOUR AGO, WHERE ARE YOU?."

"I'm so sorry, I lost track of time. I promise i will make it up to you gunther, name anything just please don't fire me. I really need this job"

"fine get back here in 10 minutes and you'll work on your day off on saturday for 2 weeks! no extra pay." gunther says and then puts the phone down.

Dani jumps up from the couch and grabs her jacket which is lying on the floor "i've got to go. I'm an hour late getting back to work. Can we carry this on another time?." Dani says seductively

"Tonight at 9pm here, Don't be late!" Santana says giving Dani a peck on the lips before pushing her out the door so she wouldn't be late a 3rd time in 1 day.
