Devin's POV

Did I just hear what I just heard? Wow! Unbelievable! Wow! Wow! I honestly don't know if I should be happy or not. Ok,yes I'm happy and I know just how to make her fall for me. Once she thinks I'm in love with her and once she falls in love with me, then I'll break up with her and go with another girl. Wait, I can't do this she has already suffered, but what can I do, I mean I am the player after all aren't I ?????

Cathy's POV

After I had left Devin alone, I I went to my 1st hour class. Adam passed by me and for some very odd reason, he had sadness and sorrow in his eyes. Why was he said , he shouldn't be sad it should be me not him!! Uh... why do these teachers have to be so freaking boring???

*******Lunch Time*******

"Hey can I sit here asked Devin?"

"Uh hey can I sit by you?" asked Adam.

"Um you two can each sit on each side of me ok," I said kinda happy that two boys wanted to sit by me.

SILENCE

AWKWARD SILENCE

"Um ok so this food is uh... yummy, Right?" I said breaking the intense silence.

"Are you kidding me, this lunch is pure crap!" exclaimed Devin.

"Oh so why the heck are you eating it then?" I asked with sarcasm.

As I said this Adam started to laugh. Why was he laughing like nothing had happened yesterday. I ate my food in super fast mode. Once I finished eating I told the boys that I would be right back because I had to go throw my food away . After I dumped my food, I decided to let these two talk,so I decided to go to the bathroom and stay there for a while.

Adam's POV

Cathy said that she would be right back because she had to go throw her food. (YEAH MORE LIKE LEFTOVER)

Damn this girl eats fast. I felt kinda weird having to be alone with this so called Devin boy.

SILENCE

"Hey," I said.

"Uh hi," said Devin.

"So are you and Cathy like good friends or something?" I asked finally wanting to know what Cathy has been doing.

"Oh well actually no we're just kinda friends," said Devin.

"Oh ok?" I said not knowing what else to say.

"Is it true that you and Cathy broke up?" asked Devin with a kinda serious tone .

"Why do you wanna know and who told you?" I asked harshly.

"Ok first of all you don't need to know who told me and I asked a question,therefore I need an answer!" exclaimed Devin loudly making some students stare at us.

"Fine you want an answer?'' I asked.

"Yes," said Devin.

"Ok, yes we did break up happy now," I said.

Devin's POV

"Ok yes we did break up happy now," said Adam.

Yes this is exactly what I wanted to hear. This means good news,so now I can make my move on poor little Cathy.

*******AFTER SCHOOL*******

(Still Devin's pov)

"Hey uh Cathy I have a question," I said a little nervously. Gush!!! Why was I nervous to ask her out, its never hard for me.

"Yeah what is it?" asked Cathy.

"Well I was wondering if you could be my--- ring,ring,ring.

"Uh sorry Devin, can you please hold on a bit," said Cathy.

UHHHH.........

****5 MINUTES LATER****

"Ok sorry,so what was it that you were gonna ask me," said Cathy.

"Oh yah um.... do you wanna be my uh.. girlfriend?" I finally asked.

Cathy's mouth dropped open. Once she caught herself, she closed her mouth. She tried to speak, but nothing came out. Then finally she said something.

"Uh are you for reals?" asked Cathy.

It took me a while to answer, because I knew that in the future she would be heartbroken once I dumped her.

"Uh yeah," I finally managed to say.

"Ok then yes I'll be your girlfriend," said Cathy running towards me and hugging me. I could do nothing more than to hug her back, but deep down inside me, I felt really bad for her. She looked so happy. Wait!!!! If she seemed so happy, does that mean that she likes me alot?????-_-

We broke apart and I decided to plant a kiss on her cheek.

"Bye," i said.

"Bye Devin," said Cathy.

Cathy's POV

I started to walk home,and when I got home I dropped my backpack and went upstairs. OMG!!!OMG!!!! He asked me out!!!!!!!! I honestly just can't believe it. HE ASKED ME OUT!!!!!! I really hope he doesn't cheat on me like Adam did to me. And if he does cheat on me, then I will never ever forgive him ever.
