Chapter 29

It was one week till Christmas and my mom and pops was arriving in 2 days time. Luke was finishing up his Christmas song Run Run Rudolf and then he would be off for two months, then he was doing a 8 week back to back tour and then he will be off for the baby being due on the 24th May.
I decided to head into town to get some last minute presents for everyone.
I went into the jewellers and got my mom and dad a watch each.
Luke loves fishing and hunting so I went into Cabelas and got him a new rod and bow he should love those.
I went back into the car and I put on the radio, the Bobby Bones show and Luke was doing an interview,
"So Luke you have just finished your Christmas single, which I will play after this interview, is there anyone you would like to dedicate it to"
"Yeah this song is for the most amazing little lady in my life, Lisa, you are my rock baby and I can't wait till our wedding day"
"Oh that's sweet, so Luke when are you and the lovely Lisa tying the knot?"
"14th February Valentine's Day, small ceremony family and friends"
"Fantastic, and when is  your little bundle of joy due?"
"He is due on 24th May but we are keeping his name under wraps until he is born"
I smiled while listening to him talk about our baby, I loved this man so much. Bobby played Luke's song and I sang along on the way home. Lana was coming over for dinner tonight, just us girls while Luke and Carter went turkey hunting then out for a few beers.
I pulled into the drive and Lana was already there. I went in and she helped me wrap up the extra gifts I got. She was heading back to Seattle between Christmas  and New Years to pack up her stuff ready for the move after the New Year.
I started to cook the dinner, steak and potatoes and green beans.  After dinner we sat down on the sofa a skimmed through wedding and baby magazine. I was in absolute cloud nine.
