Firstly I'd like to apologize for the extremely long delay in writing the new chapter of this book. I still ship the ship, but WattPad kind of faded for me. After logging in after a few months and seeing the feedback, I am feeling more inclined to continue the series. Listen, I'm a sucker for positive feedback. If you really want to see the next chapter, vote on the most recent chapter and leave a comment. It's my fuel.
A few months had passed since Laurence's discovery of The Blue Knight's channel. In regards to how he was living, it was pretty uneventful. His YouTube following had grown a little, coming in at about 300,000 subscribers as opposed to 200,000. Other than that, not much had happened. He's able to make most of his living off the 300,000 subscribers he has now, so it's not like he has to get a job. Right now, his daily schedule consists mostly of being a couch potato. As that crossed his mind, he chuckled a little at the thought because he remembered: Aaron used to call Aphmau "potato" back in high school. Funny how that worked out... Aphmau getting with Aaron and all. No one would've expected it. Laurence was kind of hurt, but it made it easier for him to focus on his career.
After getting up, Laurence ate a meager breakfast. Like most people, he tended to skip breakfast on days he wasn't going to work out. However, today was one of those 'I-need-to-work-out' days. He grabbed his bag and headed to the gym. At the gym, a lot of people attempted to make small talk with him on a daily basis. Laurence, on the other hand, is usually too hyped this time of day to focus on a meaningless conversation. This is another reason why he chooses this early hour to work out. The Blue Knight usually uploads at around ten in the morning, so Laurence starts his workouts at 8:30 and ends them at around 9:30. If all goes according to plan, he gets half an hour to pick something up on the way back to his house. After sitting down and watching The Blue Knight's most recent upload, he usually goes into his camera room to film his own videos, as The Blue Knight inspires him. Normally he just sits down and gawks about something that had crossed his mind earlier that day or last evening. He decided to talk about random news stories he had heard throughout the past week or so. Again, nothing special. Unusually, he references his favorite YouTube content creator in today's video."I was watching The Blue Knight's video the other day, which I really do daily," he said that last part with a change of tone to sound more playful, "and he did something funny since you know, it's his job. You know Chewbacca Mom? If you don't I'll put some links in the description to The Blue Knight's video and the original Chewbacca Mom video. Anyways mid-video he pulls out the mask and starts to try out the 'Chewbacca yell'. His laugh's much cuter than her's, but he had the same reaction to the mask as she did."
Well, that did it. "Here come the shippers," Laurence sighed aloud to no one. He was editing this video and saw that, but decided to keep it in since most of his followers didn't seem to mind when he mentioned another YouTuber's video. To be honest with himself, Laurence wouldn't mind being shipped with him... what? Did he just think that? Come on Laurence, you're embarrassing yourself and no one's even around. He quickly uploaded the video before plopping down on the couch. He lay there for a good while, just scrolling through the various social media on his phone. As usual, he quickly became bored and watched a mix of anime/television before passing out blissfully on his couch.
Whew. That was something. I'm going to give a little bit more excitement to the next chapter. It won't time skip too far, maybe a day or two. Be sure to vote and comment because I'm an attention whore!
