Today Is The Day

What Lurks in the Dark

     Where to go, where to go I say over and over in my head. Tyler were do we go I ask, Well I have an idea we can go scan verging around for food water and gas. We have a blanket in the back seat we can sleep, hopefully without being harmed. The window was dark and the cars light were shining strait foreword, we saw about two figures moving on the side of the road. Tyler turns the headlight strait at the figures. Tyler screams once he sees the two. And pushes down on the gas killing them. We hoped out with a knife in my hand and looked at them there face was super bloody one of them was a police officer with a gun on his side. We took the gun the other person seemed to have nothing useful. We got back in the car and drove off. Wait we have a map I pull it out from under the seat, Tyler says nice job. There is a gas station just up ahead not even one mile ahead. We reach our destination Tyler grabs out his debit card because that is the only way the gas will work. We hope for dear life that gas will come out because we are on empty. But nothing comes out,  lets check inside the doors are locked so Tyler kicks the window with a hard kick and it breaks. Nothing has been in here the shelf's  are stocked and everything I run to the back to see if theirs gas there is I run outside fill up the car. When I get back in Tyler says move the car over to the door. We grab almost everything. When we get in the car we saw a bus coming at us Tyler turns on the car but the bus keeps getting closer. Tyler stepped on the gass and onto the road. Um I am sorry to say this but there following us. What Tyler yells  as he looks at his rear view mirror. We speed up but the bus is still catching up to us. I have an idea I say I grab the pistol roll down the window and aim. My first shot at the tire was a miss but the second was a hit. I got in the other side of the car and shot the right side tire it was another successful hit. The bus slowed down and we got away.
