Sammi's wedding was a quiet one. One which we hadn't expected. But all the same, I felt happy with that. When I got into my dress, I realise that Sammi had had it adusted for my prominent baby bump which was starting to grow.

Andy had managed to calm every fear in my bone and make me feel beautiful. He seemed to have this natural ability. What made me giggle was that with his new short hair style, it suited him well but we kept teasing him, asking if he'd seen his sister.

His face was priceless the first time Ash came out with that line when we had a big sunday dinner around ours.

At Sammi's wedding, we both silently realised that it was going to be more difficult than we realised because her wedding had been planned down to the very last second. We hadn't even thought about the time check.

As the babies grew, I was starting to struggle with my walking, and eventually after a scan, they told me that because of my small frame, my body hadn't adjusted to the size, thus causing my joints to become loose.

So they placed me on crutches.

Between finishing the record and trying to be as home as much as possible, I could see how tired he was beginning to become, so we decided to take a vacation to visit his parents. It was a long road trip, but it was safer than flying because we wanted to do nothing to risk the babies health.

Spending the week with Chris and Amy had been relaxing, with them both insisting for me to put my feet up and Andy watched me like a hawk. It was irritating, but in an endearing way.

It was when we got back did things change.

"Andy, can you get this upstairs, my sides are hurting." Gripping the back of the couch, I let out a sharp gasp as the pain hit me and I heard something smash before I felt his hands against my cheek.

""Kalli, where does it hurt?"

"Here." I whined, placing my hand above my hip and rubbing it alongside my belly, letting out a cry as another wave of pain hit me.

"We need to get you to the hospital." I didn't argue as he helped me back into the car.

The journey seemed to go on forever and the pain kept increasing. I knew it wasn't a premature birth because my water hadn't broken.

 What if it's the baby?

Panic ensued by then. When we arrived, he parked as close as possible before half carrying me into the hospital. It was too painful whenever someone touched the side that it was hurting.

"Can someone help her, please?!" Not even a second had passed by and a nurse turned up.

"What's her name?"

"Kalliska Terrix, she's pregnant and complaining of pains to her side." Andy rattled off immediately as I was lowered into a wheelchair.

"Has her water broken?"

"No." I cried out, gripping his hand tightly. He kissed my hand as they wheeled me down the too white corridor.

Once I was in a room, the nurse began to check my vitals as a doctor entered. Andy was anxious and pacing, and not helping my stress levels.

The doctor didn't say a word to me, merely pressed on my stomach, causing another cry of agony before finally speaking.

"We need to get her into theatre right now"

Theatre.

That meant they were going to operate.

Andy beat me to the question.
