Midnight in hell.

I sat on my bed looking the small window I had. Looking out into the night seeing nothing but darkness. I have learned to call this small room home. Everything was cold to the touching including me. When I first arrived her I thought I was alone, but that was soon answered. Every now and then I would hear foot steps, nothing more just foot steps. I have been locked up here ever sence I was a child. That was a few years back. I was taken away from my family when I was ten. That was 8 years ago. I always thought someone would come and get me but nothing. I laid down on my make shift bed and closed my eyes falling into a deep sleep.

- Beginning of Dream -

"Now Nera, it's time to get up mom is going to be mad if she sees you in bed!" I rolled out of bed to look at my older sister Sonja. I rolled my eyes and stood up. " There I'm up " Sonja rolled her eyes and walked out of the room. "Nera , Sonja!!" My mother yelled... she never yelled at us. I walked out of my room to see my mother outside in panic. Our whole village was in panic. " Sonja get Nera now!" My mother yelled. Sonja rushed over to me and held me tight. " Mom what's going on ? " My mother gave me a soft look and kissed my cheek. I was confused by my mothers actions along with my sister. There was a loud rumbling sound and my mother turned around. Soon i was able to make out horses. The kings horses! I looked up at Sonja I was scared. The king and his men only ever came down here if he wanted something. That worried me. " Sonja go take your sister into the woods and don't stop not come back. Do you understand" Sonja nodded she knew not to question mother. We turned away and started running into the forest. I was so scared. Sonja pulled me alone threw the forest. I could hear the screams coming from our village. Tears started running down my face. " Come on Nera keep up!" My sister and I ran for what seamed like hours before Sonja stopped. " Why are we running Sonja what did the kings men want ? " Sonja looked down at me smiling. "Nera - " Out of no where an arrow hit Sonja. She fell to the ground. "SONJA!" I ran over to her side , not knowing what to do. "R..run Nera " She kept on pushing me away. So I got up and ran. I ran into darkness.....

I jolted away. Breathing fast like I had been running. I looked at my surroundings. I was still in my room... my little prison. I got to my feet and walked around my room. The foot steps we closer today very close. I heard my door squeak open, I stood there. Slowly a man stepped into my room. " Why hello Nera , I think it's time for you to come out ".

He led me out of my room and down I long hall way. I walked behind him remembering everything in case I needed to run. We soon came to two big wooden doors. The man opened them and walked in. I followed behind. " Welcome to your new home" the man said before leaving me alone. The room was beautiful. 1 big king sized bed. A fire place. Table and chairs and some books. This was amazing. Why would they show me this now? The wooden doors opened again but this time reviling a small girl. She was waring a ragged dress and she looked at the ground. She had beautiful back hair. " My lady " she said. My lady? " Is there anything I can get you ?" Why was she hear and treating my like a princess. " What is your name? " She sifted in her spot. "Ebony my Lady " Ebony what a beautiful name. " Please Ebony call me Nera instead of My Lady " I asked. She nodded. A tall man came from behind her " Out! " He shouted at her. She turned around leaving me with this man. " Who are you ?" He wasn't the same man who lead me here. No no no he was different. He dressed different and his posture was strong yet scary. He had black hair the came to his shoulders. Perusing green eyes. He was very tall maybe 6 feet. He smirked at me , I didn't realize I was staring at him. I blushed and looked away. " I am Loki." He paused. " Your king " He finally finished. A cold shiver ran down my spine something wasn't right.
