Nathaniel drove in silence for a long time. "Where are we going?" I asked not wanting my dad to be upset with me again "well..." He paused "since your scared your dad will get upset I think I'll turn and take you home".... He really could read my mind

Nathaniel pulled into the driveway, I jumped out and he pulled away so dad wouldn't see his truck and would think I walked..

It all happened so fast I couldn't even think before the first hit, I had walked right into it. As I lay there on the floor after the beating I look at the clock and that's when I realized how late it was.. "Who were you with this time?" I heard his voice from the couch where he went to sit after beating me till I couldn't stand "I wasn't with anyone.. I had a thing after school" I lied "last I checked you weren't so stupid as to lie to me" I closed my eyes from the pain in my left I and wondered had he seen the head lights of Nathaniel's truck? I didn't know and I didn't care anymore, I stood up to head to the bathroom when he grabbed my hair and pulled me back.

Two bearings in one night? Oh man I must really be in trouble I thought as my head throbbed.. Hot tears streaked my face burning my eye that he had hit first thing when I walked in.. "Why?" I asked sniffling "why what? You act like this couldn't be worse" he replied "because honestly I don't know if it could!" I yelled surprised at myself. "Ok go to bed, no dinner because your an ungrateful little shit!" I looked at him wondering if he was serious... Of course he was. I pulled myself up off the ground and headed to my room.
