Okay, maybe I fell on my butt, maybe not.

But that's not the point.

I just got the birthday wish that nobody wanted.

That 'wish' was to be sucked into a completely fancy place by a TORNADO. No not palace, a mansion. By some rich dude named Benny or B.B and to be called Scorpio.

Well,

I'm very concerned for whoever thought of that.

Oh well. I'm kinda stuck here since I have absolutely no idea where I am. I've never seen this, not even in pictures. I tried to get up, only to fall back down again, on my behind. Ouch.

Suddenly, a dude dressed in a suit with a mustache that looked very good on him walked in. "Sir Scorpio, are you alright? Did you enjoy the trip?" The man asked in an accent.

In reality, I would have said: Well, listen up buddy, I'm literally butthurt from the trip. Plus, I'm not Scorpio, I'm Hugo. You hear me?

H-U-G-O. Got it, get it, good.

But nooooo.

I'm trying to get a good reputation here.

So my replies is this:

"I'm alright, thank you for asking. And the trip was alright." I mentally facepalmed at my formalness.

"I insist that we get you cleaned up, sir Scorpio. Please, do follow me." The mustache man said, helping me up. First of all, who even talks like that anymore?

Second of all, I'm N O T Scorpio. I'm Hugo!!!

H-U-G-O!!! Anyway, we walked down many corridors and halls. Wich made me uneasy. Finally, we made it to a door with a nameplate that said: Scorpio.

What the heck!

I'm not Scorpio!!!

I'm tired of this shit already.

I need to sleep.

"Please, do enjoy your stay. Here is your room key and here is the time schedule. Anything you need we will provide. Just ring the bell. Make sure not to be late for your meeting tomorrow with mister------------"

I just stopped listening. I looked around my room slowly. Once he was done jabbering, I said 'thank you, I will enjoy it here, I'm sure.' Or something like that.

Well. From the look of it, this room might as well be a dream. I just dived face-first into my bed and fell asleep. The time I woke up? About 12:35 in the morning. Great, I probably set my alarm to 8:00 or something.

I sat up on my comfortable new bed. Hey, maybe I can get used to this Scorpio thing. I stood up and saw some nice new clothes in the walk-in closet. I walked over to it and dressed in the clothes that had my name on it. Sure, my clothes felt weird, but that is because I have never worn something like this.

After that, my stomach growled.

Time to find some food.

I opened my door, Which was surprising because doors always made sounds when you open them. You know what? I kinda like this door better than the ones back at home. You know what? I should stop talking about doors. I somehow walked into a huge room with a huge table.

There was also a humongous chandler made of gold and crystal hanging from the ceiling. Each seat had a name in front of it. I finally found 'Scorpio' Since I could not find Hugo anywhere. It already had food on it. Still warm.

So what was left to do?

Eat it all up.

Well, that has to be the best meal that I have ever eaten. Then a door opened. I quickly wiped my face and hands. "We hope you enjoyed your meal, Sir Scorpio. We have brought you a high-class birthday cake Wich will arrive soon." A man with a big hat said.

I nodded, scared if I should have nodded or replied. I soon heard a bell. "If you will, excuse me, Sir Scorpio, but your cake has arrived." Big-hat man said, walking away. I sighed in relief once he exited the room. I was seriously about to faint from all this new stuff.

Then he came back in.

"We hope you have the happiest birthday, Sir Scorpio." Big-hat man said. This guy has to have at least mentally facepalm at his words. At least once.

After the singing and candle blowing, Wich was all strange to me since I had to make a wish. Which I can't tell you because the wish industry will spit on my wish and then throw it into a lava pit with the rest of the wishes that were said or completely impossible.

Maybe this place came from that lava pit. Life's hardest questions, you know? Anyway, I was able to cut the cake. I had the biggest slice of cake with a huge cherry on top while I letter rest of the people have a slice. But there were two left over. One for dad and one for mom, I guess. I carried the two slices of cake back to my room.

I set the two slices of cake on my bedside table.

But something was off.

On my bedside table was

A picture of my mother.
