Chapter 3: baths, and a secret mission from B.B

Getting over the shock, I put the picture down. I found two boxes and I placed the cake slices inside each one. Then I put the picture of mom in one box, or box #1. I wrote 'To Mom. From: Hugo, your son. Please ship this box to heaven.'

Then on box #2 I wrote: 'To Dad. From: Hugo, your son. Please ship this box to wherever he may be.'

I hope that my dad is all right and that the neighbors came to help.

Tears aside, there was a knock on the door. I hid the boxes and then said: "come in."

The door opened and a girl that I saw while we were having cake walked in. "Sir, have you had a bath yet?" She asked sweetly. "Actually, I haven't," I replied. "Oh! Then I insist that you will follow me, please." She said, looking shocked.

She took me to a bathhouse, where I had a bubble bath that relaxed me way too much. Then I got a mini-makeover, my hair was trimmed and styled. Then I was put into some nice clothes. "Take a look." Said the girl said, stepping aside. Wow, I look more awesome!

Then I walked around the house after thanking the girl. I found a library, an indoor and outdoor pool, a track field, a garden, a maze, a humongous field, a private forest, a small hut with books and candles, a greenhouse, a training center that was huge, and a zen house.

Jee wiz, this was a nice place. I almost forgot about my card, but I felt it in my pocket. Strange, I thought I changed clothes. I took out the card. Great, I have to be at a meeting in three minutes and I have no clue where I am and where it is.

Great planning Sco-Hugo.

Now it's wearing off on me, Damn it.

So, I'm gonna miss an important meeting that B.B wants me at. Fantastic.

But then, poof! I suddenly appear in a meeting room.

At least I didn't fall on my butt. I should stop saying that.

"I'm glad you made it, Scorpio." I heard a voice say. "Please, take a seat." The voice said again. I took a chair and sat down. "My name is Benjamin Boune." The voice said. Sorry B.B, I can't see you. "I have a very important quest for you. You must find the rest of the zodiac. Here is your information." The voice or B.B said. Suddenly, a file and a map fell onto the desk.

The map showed the world, with a line drawn from Canada to Germany. It that where the rest of them are? I opened the folder and saw pictures of other teens. The first one I layed my eyes on was a girl with energetic, light green eyes and brown hair. Wow, she looks nice. Underneath her picture was the words:

She seems like a nice girl. I was about to look at the rest until B.B spoke agian.

"For now, you need to find Aries, who is located in Germany. His name is Frantz Roth, he lives in the countryside. Once your airplane lands in Germany, say 'land'. That will show you a map of the area. If you need to change it back, say 'air'. You will not come back until you get them all. You will begin you trip tomorrow. Good luck, Scorpio." The voice said.

Thanks, B.B. you might get me stranded, but that's okay. I said thank you and left with the papers. I walked straight to my room and I fell asleep.

The next morning, October 31st, I had a tray of breakfast on the bedside table. I ate it all up and then I got ready for the trip. All I had to take was a card that could pay for anything anywhere, my scorpion necklace, some clothes, plane tickets, and some hygiene supplies.

Then I got a ride to the airport. Then I boarded a plane.

My worst fear just had to be flying, huh?
