[On Hold]EvErYtHiNg Is GoNe (NaTsU x ReAdEr)

"Big brother!" Wendy jumped into Natsu's arms. "I'm so sorry!" She sobbed. I stared at Natsu. He was kneeling on both knees as he hugged his little sister. I shook my head and headed towards their mom. I had checked her for any bites or scratches, and luckily she had none. Thank god.

After a little while, Grandeeney had woken up. She was a bit dizzy, but more depressed then usual. I'll ask her later. But for now; we need to help her.

"W-Where's my son?" She mumbled as I bandaged up her cut up arm. I called Natsu over. He came over, a confused expression clear on his face. I gestured towards his mom, looking him dead in the eye. He nods, now looking worried as he kneels down beside her and embracing her gently.

She hugs back, practically sobbing out. "Whats wrong, ma?" He asked softly. I remember when he use to hold me like that when I was crying.... he- no. Stop thinking about that. Not now. It's not the time.

She looked up at him sadly. "Have Wendy tell you.... I-I.... can't..." She was able to choke out as she sobbed. Natsu nods, supporting his mom. I stood up, Natsu and Grandeeney standing up also.  Grandeeney walked up to Wendy, hugging her, also whispering something her ear.

With wide, teary eyes,  Wendy nods and goes over to Natsu, staring at me as if asking me to come too. Wendy hold out her hand to Natsu, and one to me. I guess she prefers to have me there. HA. TAKE THAT NATSU! SUCK IT!!

We take her hands and lead her into another room. "What is is that ma needed you to say for her?" Natsu asks softly, kneeling back down. I sit beside him, looking at Wendy. She was sniffing like crazy. With a wavering voice, she answered only a little. "P... P-Papa...." Ah. Thats why they're so depressed.

Natsu's eyes widen at this. "Wha-? What about him?!" He growls. I knew that Natsu and Igneel- Natsu's dad- are rather close. They always get along, like to yell alot, do alot of things together. Honestly, thats the type of dad I wanted. Natsu's dad. The type of dad who respects their kids, has time to actually spend time with their kids, and be proud of them. A non-abusive type of dad.

Natsu had a great person to look up to. And I thought I could look up to him.... but I was wrong... that bastard... he- never mind. Now isnt the time to be thinking about this.

And with that, I try and confort the two siblings. "Natsu, let her have some time! Now isnt the time to be yelling! This is really hard for her too, you know."

Natsu gave me a side glare, but hugs his little sister. "Tell me what happened to dad..."

"Pappa! He- he- he got shot! And... and .. he's in the hospital! Acnologia keeps checking-checking on him, but he hasnt woken up!! W-hen he came back today.... he-h-he..... he said...... p-p-papa.... di-ed......"  Then burst out crying. She was crying so loud, she had to cover her mouth and push her face into Natsu's chest.

And she was also trembling really bad. Poor thing, she just lost her dad. I pull the two of them into a hug as Natsu sat there in shock.

This definitely not a good day for him.

Neither for me, but still.

I could begin to feel him shake, surprisingly worse then Wendy. Heck, I even felt Wendy glance up at him in worry.

"Go to your mom, please. I'll take care of Natsu." I whispered to Wendy. We both got up, me leading Wendy to the door as she nodded. She left.

I had shut the door, and turned to Natsu, seeing his face shadowed as he knelt motionless on the floor, his arms laying loosely at his sides. I shouldn't say motionless, because he was shaking real bad.

I suddenly see some tears rolling down his cheeks and his shoulders shaking badIy. He falls on his side, curling into a ball and gripping his head as he cried more loudly.

I immediately went to his side and hugged him as best as I could, because he was kinda laying down and im kinda sitting up..... anyway.

He turned to me, uncurling from his ball, and pulling me into a deep hug. So we were both on the floor.

After a while, when he was alot calmer, I tried to pull away. But he didnt even budge. The most that he did was hug me even more. So I sigh, hugging him back.

This was going to be a long night.

-Small time skip because of a lazy author-

We we're finally out of that room, in the kitchen to be exact. Natsu was more quiet then usual, but he talked to us. Everyone else (but Natsu, Wendy and you) was downstairs in the basement. Acnologia had came back, along with some other people, and decided to have everyone sleep in the basement. Just to be safe.

Anyway, Acnologia was making plans in the basement with all the adults. Which is mostly all the people he brought with him, but he made a rule that 'Anyone under the age of 20 is not aloud to participate'. Fuck him.

What I think isn't fair is that Erza got to go with them, AND SHE'S UNDER 18! SAME WITH MIRA AND LAXUS!
Its not fair. Ugh.... and everyone else but me, Natsu, a few other kids I don't know, and Wendy are upstairs. We have to make food for everyone.

Oh well, at least we get to eat! I'm starving!

"Hey, Y/n?" Natsu broke me out of my thoughts. "Hmm..?" I hummed back, trying to warm up some beans.

"Thanks for supporting me back there. I really needed it." His voice cracked.

"No problem dude, its what.... friends are for." I could tell from the corner of my eye that he flinched when I said 'friend', then he looked sad.

"Look-" He started, but got cut off by Wendy. "Hey, Natsu? Can you please poor me a glass of milk?" She asks politely.

"Sure." He smiled sadly, getting out the milk. What was he going to say if Wendy didn't interrupt him? Oh well. I'll find out some day.

Lucy came downstairs with a big grin. "Hey Y/n! Long time no see! How have ya been?" She giggled. I turn around and hand her the can. "I've been awesome! I had tons of friends!" I lied. "But I thought-" Natsu started but I stomped on his foot.

"What the hell?!" He whispered angrily at me. "Keep your trap shut, pinky." I growled at him with a smile. "Aaannndddd she's back." He rolls his eyes, causing us all to giggle.

"You know it, asshole."

"...fuck you."

"Please don't."
