Alois, beaten, cut, brusied, bleeding, crying, depressed, angered, stressed.
Alois stood by the window sill of his room and looked out at the night sky. He hated Claude. He wanted Claude to die and suffer the pain the Alois had to suffer everyday. Because everyday, Alois would have to come "home" to his guardian Claude and get beaten and raped. This was his daily life. And then he'd go to school the next day and act flirtatious, perky, enthusiastic, and overall happy. Until Ciel showed up at school, then he'd try to be invisible and stay silent. Ciel never even noticed him. He didnt look at Alois twice. He didnt speak to him or acknowledge him. He didnt give Alois a second thought. Alois was just kind of...nothing.
Alois collapsed onto the floor and sobbed quietly, gasping and choking for air. "I cant do this...I dont want to do this..." he mouthed to himself as tears ran down his face and onto his bare skin.Suddenly he heard a loud pounding on the door and gasped.
"What are you doing in there, brat? Are you crying AGAIN!? DAMMIT I'LL COME IN THERE AND GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO CRY ABOUT SO YOU BETTER SHUT THE HELL UP!" Claude shouted from the outside, making Alois jump. he ran over to his bed and hid under the sheets and tried to even out his breaths, making it sound like he was asleep. As soon as he heard the heavy footsteps walk away from his door, he cried himself to sleep.
Alois woke the next morning with sunlight pouring through the curtains into his eyes. He moaned and drew the sheets back. More bruises were on his body, and he didnt even put pajamas on before falling asleep. His whole body ached and throbbed. When he stood, the room spun around. He limped over to the dresser and chose some black shorts with a green vest over a white button-up undershirt. He laced up his knee-high black boots, grabbed his long purple coat and walked out of his room. He usually avoided Claude in the morning, so he just picked up his bag and left the house without saying anything. It was still early in the morning, and school didnt start for another 30 minutes so he went to the park and sat on the swings. He started pumping his legs back and forth and the swing started to go higher. His coat flew behind him as he descended. It felt as if he were flying, like a butterfly. Gracefully ascending then dropping in the air like a butterfly's wings.
Before he knew it, he checked the time again and school had already been in session for 20 minutes. "Oh no! Im late again! Oh my god, Claude is going to be so upset!" Alois picked up his bag and ran to school, trying not to cry again. He stood in the doorway of the classroom and faced the teacher.
"Mr.Trancy, late again. And not following school dress codes I see." The teacher glared at Alois through spectacles.
"Im sorry Mr-" Alois began saying his usual speech about why he was late
"Just go have a seat, Trancy. We'll talk after class." The instructor said and made a gesture with his hand signaling for Alois to go sit down. He rambled on and on about some boring subject while Alois doodled in the corner of his paper. He glanced up at noticed Ciel, who was taking notes with his face close to the desk, pencil scribbling on the paper, and tongue sticking out. Alois noted that was something that Ciel did when he was focused. He smiled slightly to himself and looked back down at his paper and pretended to take notes.
"He will never love me. He can't. I mean, who even can love me?" Alois thought sorrowfully to himself and didn't realize the teacher calling on him.
"Mr Trancy!! Pay attention, please! Now, tell us, when was the Battle Of Hastings?" the teacher inquired.
"Uhmm..." Alois tried to remember, tried to rack his brain for information. The class was silent as Alois fumbled with his lack of a answer. The teacher sighed and chose another student.
After class, Alois shuffled up to the teachers desk and looked at him through is eyelashes and stuck out his lower lip just a little. It was his please-just-let-me-off-with-a-warning look.
"Alois, whats going on? You're failing this class, you have 27 tardies in the past 3 months, and you can never seem to choose the right outfit." His teacher accused.
"Well, you see I have to get my little brother to school every day and his starts very close to the time ours does so I have to rush from there to here. Also, the work is far to difficult for this grade, maybe you should try something simpler, and then I might pass. And finally, this is what I feel comfortable in." Alois lied and made up excuses. The truth? He was late because he lost track of time when he didnt have to worry about Claude or school 24/7 and he could just relax. He never took the time and put in the effort of the work, which in his opinion was useless. And finally, this was pretty much the only clothes he owned, since Claude had to buy them.
"Im letting you off the warning, but continue with this behavior and ill be forced to call your Parent or Guardian, agreed Mr Trancy?"
"Mhm. Thank you sir." He walked out of the classroom and down the hallway and out of the building.
Time to head "home".
