Another Marauder for Hogwarts

I'm Really A Witch

     Lily and I walked down to the park, Tuney was right behind us. Tuney was still mad about yesterday, she still didn't get her way when it came to us.

     "Mum said you can't jump off the swings!" Tuney said behind us with her nose in the air. 

I rolled my eyes and looked at Lily.

     "Tuney, you know we won't jump off the swings." Lily said.

     We always hated it when Tuney went to the park with us because she is always nagging.

    "Tuney, can you go back to the house? I think we left our necklaces on the sink table." I said.

    Tuney almost screamed and ran away. I can't believe she really fell for it thought, Lily and I are wearing the necklaces right now for god's sake. 

    "Rose, that wasn't nice." Lily said.

     I knew it wasn't, I just wanted her gone.

   "I know, but she's not bothering us now." I said with a smile. 

We were both wearing our matching ribbons in our hair, blue in my hair and pink in hers. We were also wearing both a blue and pink dress. My dress was fully pink with blue tights and Lily's was fully blue with pink tights.

   "Can we talk?" Said a voice behind us.

    We both turned and saw that boy again from last time we were here.

    "I don't think we talk to mean people." Lily said.

     I didn't say anything, the boy seemed sorry.

   "I didn't mean for you two to think a witch was a bad thing. If you would just give me a minuet I could show you what I mean." The boy said.

   "We don't know your name though." I said.

     He smiled and held his hand out to me.

   "Severus Snape." I shook his hand.

   "Rose Evans." I answered.

     He held his hand out to Lily now.

    "Lily Evans." I smiled and we sat down in the grass.

    "So, you wanted to talk to us?" I asked.

   "Look, I've seen you do magic, you both are witches, don't take the wrong way it's great! I'm a wizard, I will be going to Hogwarts this year and so will you. Our letters comes soon, my mum thinks it will be tomorrow. If you're muggle born, then someone comes to explain it to you." Severus explains.

   "What's a muggle? Also what is Hogwarts?" I asked.

    "Sorry, a muggle is a non-magical person.  Hogwarts is a school for witches and wizards, you go there to learn all types of magic." Severus answered.

   "Is everyone muggle born?" Lily asked.

   "No, there are pure  bloods, half bloods, and you of course, Muggle borns." Severus answered.

    My mouth dropped open. Do I really believe this kid? He could be crazy for all I know.

   "So this school is really real?" I asked.

     He smiled, he didn't seem crazy.

  "Yes, don't worry I'm not crazy, I know it's a shock for you to hear this though." Severus said.

  "So who is the headmaster for Hogwarts?" I asked.

   "Albus Dumbledore, he is a very powerful wizard." I couldn't believe any of this, but I couldn't say anything else.

   "So, are all wizards good?" Lily questions.

  "No, all the bad wizards go to Azkaban," Severus said. "In Azkaban there are things called Dementors that can suck out your sole."

  "How horrible!" I gasp.

   "The darkest wizards of all is Voldemort." He whispers and noticeably shakes a little.

    "Has he ever been caught?" I asked.

   "No, he's to powerful. The Ministry of Magic can't do anything but lock up Death Eaters." He said.

   "What is the ministry of magic and Death Eaters?" Lily asked.

   "The Ministry of Magic is like the government and Death Eaters are Voldemort's followers." He answered.

    This must be true, no kid could make this all up. I've seen Lily and I do strange things, but not Tuney.

   "What about Tuney, our sister, is she a witch?" I asked.

   "No, just another stupid muggle." Severus grumbles.

   "That's not very nice-" Lily was cut off.

   "Lily, Rose you both are freaks! I heard everything, just freaks!", Tuney yelled.

   "Tuney, that's not nice! We're not freaks." I said as she ran away.

   "Don't worry she's just mad she is ordinary." Severus said comforting us.

   "Let's just lie down." I said.

     I lied down next to Lily and looked at the clouds. Could I really be a witch?
