Gon made his way to Killua, his face heating up as he repeated what he was going to ask his best friend. 'Will you go to the dance with me..?' Over and over again it replayed in his head like a broken record. 'Aaaa.. I'm so nervous..' He stopped in front of Killua, who also seemed slightly flustered.
"Hey, I need to ask you something." They both said this at the same time, which earned a few nervous giggles from the both of them.
"You first." They did it again.
"No you first!" And again.
"Fine, both at the same time." And again.
"3...2...1.. Will you go to the dance with me?" And again. Both of their faces went a dark red. They weren't expecting the other to ask them /that/!
A few nervous laughs came from Killua as his gaze dropped to the floor. "Yeah, I-I'll go with you.."
"A-And I'll go with you, Killua." Gon flashed him a bright smile that stretched from ear to ear before wrapping his arms around Killua in a tight embrace. Killua hesitated, his face burning up as he wrapped his arms around his friend, returning the hug.
