Background: Lived alone in a house bought by his parents pre-apocalypse. His family always worried about him being on his own, due to his recurring bouts of depression. He'd often go out alone, saying he was "going out with friends", even though the only other person he knew besides his family was Taehyung, whom he hadn't seen in years. After disappearing for a month and returning with his father's truck, a video camera full of empty scenery, and a Polaroid he insisted was of himself and one of his "friends" but only contained himself, his parents committed him into a Psychiatric Hospital. A year passed and he was released, the doctors optimistic about his recovery. When he met the group, memories of his life before the hospital stay flooded back and he became very distant and jumpy. Only Taehyung could pull him out of his shell, after which he became very caring towards the other six boys. Jin was recognized for his cooking skill and ability to run a household, so he was appointed as the Camp Supervisor.
