Background: Lived alone in an apartment pre-apocalypse. He was close with his parents and was studying to be a teacher when his girlfriend died. His grades slipped, he stopped visiting his parents, and he was eventually kicked out of school. His life had crumpled around him, and he couldn't handle it. In a state of grief he almost drowned himself in his bathtub, but was saved when his mother came over to comfort him after sensing something was wrong. He committed himself into a Psychiatric Hospital, where he met J Hope. They bonded over their shared grief and room. They left the hospital together, and when the world began going to hell (quite literally), Jimin took J Hope and protected him. When they found the team, Jimin had trouble fitting in, but eventually the others warmed up to him. Throughout the entire process of getting to know the others, Jimin stayed close by J Hope and helped him cope with the stress of the situation. Due to Jimin's physical capabilities and his aggressiveness, he became the Field Combat General.
