"Hey Ash how long have you been traveling anyways?" I ask with a curious tone in my voice.
"Umm.. Almost two years now. Right Pikachu?"
"Pika-chu!" Ash's cute mouse Pokémon nodded as he munched on a Pokémon treat.
Ash was way beyond weird. He wasn't like me at all! He had so many types of Pokémon like water, electric, fire, poison, he wasn't committed to one type like I am.
Ash adjusted his cap again and looked up at me. "So why do you like water types so much?" He asked me.
I grinned. "Aren't they beautiful to you? So many, so talented, I just want them all! One day ill be the best water Pokémon gym leader there is... I'll train them all! Fight them all! And be an expert on them ALL!"
(Misty is SUPER crazy about water Pokémon XD)
"That sounds nice, and ill beat you in a battle, it'll be great!"
I laughed, Ash couldn't beat me! My water Pokémon were the strongest I knew! But, I just nodded and shrugged at his boasting about his Pokémon and threw in little facts about mine every once in a while.
"Hey Ash?" I tilted my head, "Where did you come from anyway? I've never seen you before."
"I'm from Pallet Town." He responded as if that where the best place in the world.
"That's nice." I smiled and we didn't ask each other any more questions for a long while.
"Hey look!" I exclaimed. "A river! We should stop and take a break!" Ash nodded in approval and let out all his Pokémon, and I did too, then they all headed off to the river to play.
Ash and I sat down on the edge and put our feet in. "Its nice out today." Ash said with a smile as he took off his shirt and drank from the stream.
"Sure is." I agreed and jumped in the water, splashing him.
"HEY!" He laughed and splashed me back and soon we were botch soaked and still splashing each other.
"We should set up camp." Ash looked up at the darkening sky as he spoke. "I'll get the fire wood!" I offered and we went to work.
