The horse on the picture is Daybreak.
~SATURDAY~
It took us half the day to drive to our new home. I was in the back with Sprinkles. I mostly listened to music and played games on my iPhone. Mom tried to talk to me but I couldn't answer her so after a while she abandoned.
Luckily we were moving during the summer holidays. I don't know if I would be able to survive school straight away! So luckily the accident happened on the last week of school! We finally arrived to our new house. It was quite cosy. There were three rooms, one for me, one for mom and one as a desk/storage room. There was also a kitchen, two bathrooms(one for me), a living room... My room was quite boring:
beige walls, a bed, a clothes cupboard, just the usual.
But mom said we could repaint it and get nicer furniture. After unpacking my stuff, I decided to have a small walk with Sprinkles, to explore. Mom had bought me a small whiteboard and a whiteboard marker so I could write what I wanted to tell her.
While I was walking, I saw a girl on a horse.
She saw me and waved. I waved back. When she came closer she said:
-"Hi! I'm Hazel! Are you the new girl?"she asked. I nodded.
"I live at the ranch nearby. What's your name?"
I wrote on my whiteboard that I was mute and that my name was April and that my puppy was Sprinkles (she didn't ask but anyway!).-"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know you were mute! The horse I'm riding is Daybreak. She's my horse."she said."Would you like to come to our ranch one day? You don't have to... Well, you're welcome to come anyway! I have to go now, sorry I can't stay! Bye!" I waved as she turned and left.
I walked back home and explained to mom what happened (with my whiteboard). I asked her if I could go to the ranch the next day. She said yes.
