When we finished eating Suzan told us to get some horses out:
-Sunset for me,
-Almond for Jess
-Anjum for Veronica
-Star for Charlotte
And Daybreak for Hazel. We set off to get the horses. When I took Anjum, who is a beauty and Jess told me it meant Star in arab, Veronica appeared and said:

-"What?!?! Don't even touch my horse! How dare you!" She started insulting me. "Well you want war? Then you'll have WAR!!!" She screamed to me.

Jess came and said:

-"Um...actually it was Suzan that told us to take Anjum out so... It's not April's fault..."

Veronica looked at me with a killing look.

-"So what? It's to late now. The WAR has started." She said. "Anyway April is such a silly name! Ha, April fool's day!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Well, now I'm going to look after MY HORSE!" She said, insisting on the last two words before leading her horse away.

I walked away, a bit surprised with her...childish behavior. I brushed and tacked Sunset. Then I went to the arena. Everyone was already there except Char. She arrived 10 minutes late. Suzan started the lesson:

-"Hello everyone! Now that you know the horses a bit more, I wanted to know which horse you would like to ride each lesson. Of course, Hazel and Veronica will keep riding their horses."

-"Um... I'll ride Star." Charlotte said.

-"And me, Shadow."Jess replied.

-"W-w-ww-iiiii-nnnn---d" I slowly managed to say.

-"Ok."Suzan said. "Now, let's start."

Three hours later, I was sitting in Flame's paddock. I was slowly pronouncing his name. It was getting better! (My talking problem) I was very pleased with myself for saying Wind.
I slowly repeated:

-"Flame, Flame, Flame."

Today we had worked on cantering. Most of the others already knew how. Hazel and Veronica. And kind of Jess.
It was so nice to go so...fast!
Veronica was being mean to me but...what do you think she would do, girls like her...

I walked into Flame's paddock and called his name. When he heard me, his ears pricked up and he trotted towards me. I let him come and gave him a carrot. Then I slipped his halter on and went to tack him. I was so happy that Suzan trusted me to look after Flame!

After tacking him up I lead him to the pond. He walked in, with just a small hesitation. Then I found Hazel and asked if she wanted to go in the forest, riding. She said yes so we set off (Dawn was already tacked).

We walked/trotted/cantered to a small waterfall. At the end we raced and Hazel won. We attached the horses to a branch and jumped inside! We swam for a while, till we got cold and decided to go back to the ranch. We brushed the horses and then I biked home.

I decided to show mom how I could talk. I repeated Flame's name. Mom was so pleased! She jumped up and down! I went into my room and practiced saying mom. I was getting better at saying what I wanted but I still couldn't say a full sentence.

Then we ate...and slept...
