After the little heart warming moment passed, you and the other students hung out in the dining hall, chatting away about this and that, until the 10pm announcement played. Feeling a new found hope, you said your goodnights and went to bed. As you lay there, you were certain that no one could even think about killing another. That thought purified your other thoughts as you were whisked away into a land of dreams, a land where worries didn't exist and you could fly as high as you pleased. You enjoyed it while it lasted, for what seemed like moments later, the morning announcement snatched you back into reality. You arose, dressed and prepared yourself for another day in your killing school life. You stepped into the dining hall were you were greeted by the hopeful faces of your friends and classmates.
"Good morning N/N." Celeste smiled as you sat in the only available seat of which was next to her and Taka.
"Yes! A fine morning to you miss N/N!" Taka grinned, seeming to have returned to normal after the loss of his 'brother.' "Now! Down to business! Since we should do something productive and not waste time, I thought we should find out N/N's triggers!" Taka announced, proud of his choice. A cold chill ran down your spine.
"And how do you suppose we do that?" Kyoko leans forward, looking at Taka with slight uncertainty.
"Urm... Well... I thought you guys would know how to do that..." Taka scratches the back of his neck and coughs. Everyone in the room facepalms.
"Well, how about we ask the lady if she remembers something instead of just starting to experiment on her." Byakuya states and looks over to you with his icy blue eyes. They chill your bones to the core as the pressure sets down on you.
"Uh... Well..." Your thoughts aren't clear because you haven't eaten. Your stomach rumbles and you feel your brain itch. "umm..." The hunger overwhelm you since you didn't have dinner last night. You raise an eyebrow as your brain goes numb.
"Something wrong N/N?" Hina looks at you with concern and curiosity. 'Nope, I just remembered... Hunger is-' Your thoughts are interrupted by your brain snapping into it's senses and starts to shift.
"Yes. I need food. Don't even think of getting in my way." The words stream out of your mouth as you feel like the previous you isn't in control. You look around and spot the kitchen.
"What's with the attitude?" Hiro raises a bushy eyebrow. "Is she possessed by ghosts with attitude?!" He comes to that outrageous conclusion and raises his arms to block as if something is going to attempt to hit him.
"I don't think that's it. N/N, do you feel ok." Makoto tests to see if it's still you. You sigh, slightly irritated. ("You're not you when you're hungry" XD)
"Well I found a trigger. Does that satisfy you? Because my stomach isn't satisfied!" You frown and lock onto your favourite breakfast in the kitchen. Everyone's eyes widen, except Byakuya's. He is wearing a small, sly grin.
"What is it? I don't see it!" Hifumi observes you closely... Don't worry, I'm sure you'll slap him if he gets to close. You scowl.
"Are you really that clueless? I thought people who write FanFiction can pick up things in detail. Obviously, I overestimated you." (; u ; It's ok because I'm insulting myself.) Hifumi looks at you in shock, hurt. Byakuya's grin widens slightly, probably because you are acting like the genderbend version of him... (Stop drawing that!)
"I see... I think I got it. Hunger makes N/N selfish or basically Togami." Kyoko silently laughs at her own comment.
"Watch it!" Byakuya snaps, a light pink dust on his cheeks.
"But... How do we get N/N back to normal?" Sakura questions and bites down on an apple. You glare, kinda jealous that she gets food and you don't. "...? Oh..." Sakura realises and looks down at the half eaten apple. Being the friendly giant she is, she somewhat elegantly makes her way to the kitchen and picks up F/F (F/F = Favourite Food) and brings it to you. One part of your brain seems toyour click as you bite into your favourite food. Meanwhile, everyone is staring at this random scene that is playing in front of them. You feel like your normal self is back into control.
"T-Thanks Sakura. I remember that personality now..." You raise your shoulders and slightly lower your head in guilt. "When I'm hungry or stressed my personality turns selfish and um... I don't know how to describe it..." You look down at your feet.
"*ahem* Byakuya *ahem*" Almost everyone coughed in unison, Byakuya looks at them in shock, his cheeks are a bit more pink now.
"I said watch it!..." You start to giggle a bit. He looks at you. "W-What are you laughing at!?" I can't tell if he's mad, embarrassed or both. Wait no, it's both.
"*giggle* I'm sorry Byakuya! It's just funny because... Well it's true!" You know that Byakuya would probably be offended and get angry at you so you try to stop giggling. Instead though, his face gets redder by the second.
"T-This is outrageous!... I... I'm going to my dorm!" Byakuya turns to hide his face and attempts to calmly walk out of the room but ends up sprinting by the time he gets to the door. He runs pretty fast for someone wearing a suit. All the ladies in the room either giggle or 'woo.' A giggling Celeste nudges you. Oblivious to what they are hinting at, you raise an eyebrow and nudge back. The boys however, are jealously glaring at the door, eyes filled with envy. 'Um... I should go see what's up with Byakuya...'
"I don't know what's up with you guys but he looked upset... I'm going to check on him.." You start to walk to the door, although it may take a while since you're at the opposite end to the door.
"Hey, wait N/N!" Makoto gets up and has he does, throws the glass of water he held in his hand. As it shatters across the ground, the water plagues the floor boards, making them wet. Your opposite of grippy shoes slip and you fall forward, too shocked to say anything. Time goes in slow motion as you fall. Just before you land, you feel a sharp pain in your left hand but it is cut off by darkness.
You're brain once again feels numb. 'This is another trigger huh... But why d o e s...'
Just before you fall into the void of unconsciousness a series of voice shout your name.
Too bad they aren't speaking to the same Y/N as they were before...
