Normal POV

"She is fine. She just got too many sunlight. She mustn't be under sun too much. Her body can't take it. Everything else is fine" Subaru said.

All of them sighed in relieved. Mikan is one of their most important person in the world. Without her, they're doomed.

"But, Her condition is a still a little unstable. Since she got a cancer, she musn't go out much. Especially when it's day time." Subaru said.

Natsume quickly flinches when the word cancer pops out

"Cancer?" He looks at Subaru.

"Yes. Your wife has cancer."

With that sentence, his life came crumbling down. First, he cheated at her unwillingly. And this is his punishment. But why her? Why did she is the one that got it. Why can't it be him? He says it in his heart.

"Wait, didn't you know about this, Hyuuga?"

"No.. I.. I don't know"

"But Hotaru knows this" He said. Natsume's head quickly faces the wife of her best-friend.

"YOU KNEW?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!"

"I have no right to tell you. Mikan wants herself to tell you. Don't blame me." She said calmly.

Natsume sighs.

"Does that mean you also knew this Ruka?"

"Yes.. But I was told today,when you left for a while" Ruka answers.

"Subaru-san, Is there a cure?" Natsume asked. Eyes filled with hope.

"Apparently, I do" Subaru smiles.

"What is it?!"

"We can do a surgery. It's 100% safe. Her cancer will be gone completely."

"Then please do it!"

Mikan POV

My eyes fluttered open. Adjusting to the bright light. It was all white. It smells like.. Hospital. Am I at the Hospital?

I look around. The walls are all white. There are items that Hospital room usually have.

How did I get here?

I tried to get up but my head got dizzy and I fell back to a sleep position.

Suddenly the door open. Hotaru,Natsume, and Ruka walks in.

"Mikan, Are you feeling fine?" Hotaru said.

"Yeah.. Just a little bit dizzy"

"Mikan.." Natsume says my name. I look at him. His eyes is filled with sorrow.

Did he found out?

"Y-Yes?"

"Why didn't you tell me.. That you have cancer?"

"Hotaru,Ruka could you please go outside for a while?"

"Sure" Hotaru said and drags Ruka out.

"You see, I was going to tell you. But.. I thought you wouldn't care about it. I..I know you cheated on me. I know it. I know you don't love me anymore.. Therefore, I don't want to tell you. I don't want to be a burden to you." I said.

"I love you, Mikan, even till now, My love for you is still the same. I cheated because I was forced. The girl that force me will bully you, maybe even do anything bad to you. I don't want you to get hurt." He said caressing my cheek softly.

"Really?" I shed a tear.

"Really." He smiles.

I hug him and he hugs me back. I miss his touch. So warm and comfy.

"Take the surgery Mikan, You'll be cured in no time"

"I will"
