My name is Evan Timothy Elton.
I'm 13 years old.
Not some normal, typical 13 year old.You see, I'm not normal.
I'm a demigod.
How did I know?
Well, it happened a few days ago...
We were having our lunch break at our school's cafeteria back then, me and my mates. We never felt anything wrong, no, scratch that. They never felt anything wrong, because I did.
The hair on the back of my neck keeps standing! I looked around to see if someone was watching us, but there's no one.
"Hey man. What's wrong?" My friend, Aaron said.
"Nothing." I said.
I shook the thought out of my head then. I tried to listen on my what my friends were saying but can't. That was when I saw it.
I saw a man outside the cafeteria. He's at the school garden. I really find this really weird because our school's not really open to visitors. And he definitely didn't look like a teacher.
He's wearing all black clothes. Black turtle neck shirt, black pants, black long coat, black boots, and black fedora hat. He's also wearing black tinted sunglasses. He could've looked like Arnold Schwarzenegger, except he had that fedora hat.
My heart skipped a beat when I realized he was looking at me. Maybe you're wondering how did I know he was looking at me. I don't know how! I just know!
"Evan? Sup?" One of my friends asked.
I realized I was shaking a bit. I gulped.
"Look at the garden." I said quickly. They did but the man's not there anymore.
"What? Did you want us to see those flowers? You gay man?" One of them said and they all laughed.
"Mr. Elton." A voice said and they all suddenly stopped laughing.
"Mr. Gilmore" I said and immediately stood up.
Mr. Gilmore's our school principal for 3 years now. He's got a blonde hair and light complexion. He also wears eye glasses that doesn't really fit him.
"Come with me." He said and started walking. I looked at my friends and they all nodded. I immediately followed Mr. Gilmore nervously.
We got into his office and he sat in his table.
"Please have a seat." He said and I sat on a chair.
"Do you know why you're here, Mr. Elton?" He asked.
I shook my head. "No, sir." I said. He nodded.
"You see, there are dangers out there, Evan. Oh I'm sorry, can I call you Evan?" He said smiling and I nodded.
"Well, Evan. This world is very dangerous for you. For us. For our kind and-"
"Wait sir. Our kind?" I asked, clearly confused.
He pursed his lips. "Yes. Our kind. I find this very hard to explain actually but I'm doing my very best."
"Explain what?" I asked.
"Evan, you're a demigod." He said.
I waited for him to laugh or smirk or anything but no, nothing. He's serious.
"Wait, you're serious?" I asked and stood up.
"Well of course I am, Evan. This is not a joking matter." He said.
"But no. I can't be a demigod. I mean, you should be kidding." I said.
He smiled. "I do not kid, Evan."
"I'm not a demigod." I said.
"Yes, you are indeed." He said, still calm.
"How could I be a demigod?" I asked. "I don't have a god parent or anything."
He smiled again. "Don't you?"
Then it hit me. My mom. I never met my mom. Dad said she abandoned as soon as I was born.
I gulped. "A-are you saying that my mom's a god? I mean, a goddess?" I asked.
"Yes." He said, still smiling.
"H-how.."
"I think you know how Evan. I think you also know why. You're a very smart boy, I heard." He said.
"Which? I mean, Greek or Roman?" I asked.
"You know which." He said again.
"Greek.." I muttered. We're living in the western civilization so probably Greek.
I looked at Mr. Gilmore and he gave me an envelope. I opened it and read it.
