🎶I don't know what I was doing

But suddenly, we fell apart

Nowadays, I cannot find her

But when I do, we'll get a brand new start🎶

Looking on the flowers from their usual picnic field, he stood up and headed towards home. His grief and anger had already vanished and he was ready to properly listen to her explanation.

Remembering the times of their past fights and the times when they'd just skip work and cuddle with each other relieved his stressed mind.

He remembered just how much he loved to make her smile and laugh, to make her feel loved and cared, and to make her happy.

He realized that what he did was a mistake since he never really cared to listen to her words and just made assumptions of her not loving him anymore and allowed his raw emotions take control of him.

What's more is that, instead of giving her happiness like how he'd always wanted to give her, he had given her numerous reasons to cry and be helpless.

Taking out his extra key and inserting it to the key hole, he was baffled when it revealed that it was unlocked. He clearly remembered that he locked it earlier when he stormed off.

His mind was blaring something about warnings and all and he slammed the door open and ran inside, everything is now clean and in order.

His heart skipped faster as he saw no one inside the living room, he ran to the kitchen, nothing, to the bathroom, nothing, to the dining room, nope, and lastly, he dashed to their bedroom and his violet orbs widened as he saw no signs of life but instead saw a small folded paper placed on top of their bedside table just beside the lampshade.

Picking it up, he read the contents and gasped in shock as his mind processed it.

Lukas,

By the time you read this, I am gone. I am sorry.

I NEEDED YOU.

AND I WILL FOREVER LOVE YOU AND YOU ONLY.

-[Y/N]-

He fell to his knees as his eyes roamed the room. The closet was open and only her clothes were missing, her work materials were gone, her books also disappeared.

And that's when everything registered in his mind.

She's gone.

She left.

And she left not because she didn't love him....

But because she couldn't take the pain he had inflicted on her.

At least, that's what he thought.

He searched the whole village and town for her, asking by passers and went as far as to ask the police for help in searching her. He searched for days which turned to weeks which turned to months which turned to years, never stopping the desire to find her and bring her back.

Guilt crept its way in him and grief overtook his mind.

Depression and stress caused his body to become restless and fatigue settled its own on his face. He grew paler and eye bags started forming. But his heart never allowed itself to get tainted as hope overpowered it all. Hope that he will find her and hold her in his arms once again.
