Left In The Dark ( Fruits Basket)

YUME: Medium blonde hair,year of the rabbit but she thinks cats are better, bright blue eyes full of life, outgoing, somewhat of a Hatsuharu temper. She's 5'6 & skinny (yet she eats like she hasn't in 3 years)

{Yume's POV}

"YUME YOU BETTER BE UP! IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!" I heard a faint scream.

I groaned and rolled over and pulled my headphones back on.

The song I was listening to was the opening song for Fruits Basket,one of my favorite animes.

I heard more muffled screams and just smiled to myself.

Then I felt the blankets being pulled away and I let out a shriek.

I heard laughter and looked over for the source.

"Baka!" I yelled at my best friend Danieru.

She laughed and threw clothes at my face.

"Get dressed everyone's outside waiting!" She said still laughing.

I rolled my eyes at her and ran to the closet.

I got dressed in my combat outfit. Which consisted of a camo t-shirt, baggy camo jeans, grudge boots, two black lines on each cheek, and my original winged eye liner.

I yelled goodbye to my grandmother and sister and opened my window.

I climbed into my roof and saw my 4 friends sitting below it.

"Danieru go get that girl or we'll be late!" Arekkusu shouted.

I stifled a laugh as he groaned and went back in the back door. I waited for the perfect timing.

Then as I went to jump down I slipped and waited for impact.

When I opened my eyes I noticed orange hair.

"Sorry, Jeiku!" I said as I scrambled to my feet.

He just laughed and got up.

Then I was tackled.

"You baka! How could you not call me?!" Ashuri screamed in my face.

Then she broke out in a smile and I laughed at her. She was my only friend to understand my love for Fruits Basket.

We hugged and got up.

"Guys! I can't find her anywhe-" Danieru stopped once she saw me waiting.

She sighed and patted my head.

"So are we going or what?" Jeiku asked.

I smirked and saw a great opportunity.

I stood on the ledge of my back porch and pointed at the sky,"WE SHALL GO AND FEAST! FOR THE GOOD OF OUR STOMA-HOLY FUDGE!" I screamed out for fun but someone had to throw a lemon at me.

I flew backwards off the porch as my friends laughed at me.

I flipped over so I would land on my feet and threw it back at them.

It hit Ashuri in the head and she glared at me.

She's like Kagura when she's mad.

I gulped and booked it down the street. I could hear her getting closer along with the others and tried to run faster.

We ran for about 10 minutes and she still wouldn't give up!

"GIVE UP ALREADY! YOU'LL NEVER DEFEAT ME! YOU CAN NEVER KILL ME!" I screamed causing people to stare at me.
