~Ashuri's POV~

I watched Akito as his sat infront of me, jaw ajar, looking completely stunned.

Well I understand why. I just confessed my love to a fictional character that probably doesn't remember the first thing about love let alone dating.

Deciding it was time for me to leave I stiff slowly," Aki- I mean... Mr.Sohma? I really do apologize for such an outburst. I just was overwhelmed when I saw you. It was a like a dream. I wanted to think I would tell you how I feel and you'd accept me and-"

I realized I was once again getting off track and laughed a bit to relive the tension still in the air.

"Anyways...please excuse me." As I turned and started shuffling over to the door my left knee felt a pressure on it and I fell to the ground.

I turned my head to see the cause and sure enough, Akito was there with his foot on the back of my knee.

I went to stand but he pushed me down with full force and stood on my arm grinding the skin into the older parts of the wood.

Splitters entered my arm and blood trickling down," To have someone as you talk to me as if you've known me forever. You truly are a stupid girl as I predicted." I clenched my teeth in pain from both his words and the wood.

I stared down at the wood as a few stray tears dripped from my eyes down to my nose and then the floor.

"You're right however. I do not know love nor can I. It would useless to do so." I didn't move. I didn't respond.

The door infront of us sprung open to revealed a worried Shigure.

"Akito! What are you doing to this girl? She's a guest of ours!" Shigure slowly pulled Akito away and calmed him down.

I shakily stood to my feet looking back one time before running out to find Yume.
