Chapter Two

Travis' POV:

I was walking around the village and I saw James, Carina, Jennifer, and Leo. I walked towards them. "Hey guys."

"Oh, hey Travis! What're you doing up this early?" Jennifer said.

"What? I can't wake up early either?"

"Not she you're cranky." James said and everyone laughed.

"Ha-Ha. Very funny guys," I said sarcastically. "Anyway, what you guys doing here anyways." Leo put his hands around Jennifer's waist and James did the same with Carina.

"Double date." James said.

"This early?"

"Yep."

"Without me?"

"Yep." Jennifer said. "And it's called a double date for a reason Travis."

"Pfft, I don't have to go on a date with you guys then, I'll just take (Y/N) on a date myself."

"Okay, have fun Travis." Jennifer said. "And I really meant that."

"You guys are horrible friends. Except for Cari. She's nice. Right Carina?" I swung my hands around her neck.

"Get off." She said and she pushed my hands off of her. I gasped.

"Carina. You broke my heart."

"You mean the one you don't have."

I did another dramatic gasp. "You guys are so mean! Especially you Carina. You're so quiet but deadly."

"She learned from the master. Right babe?" James asked.

"Yep." She smiled and pecked his lips.

"Know what? I'm gonna go and check on (Y/N) right now to see if she is awake." I turned around and walked away before any of them said anything. I walked into the house and seen that she wasn't there.

I seen a piece of paper on the bed and something I've never seem before next to it.

Hey Travis! I'm sorry I wasn't here when you can but Emmy needed me for something. Oh! and she left a big something for you next to this note thingy so I need you to look at it and tell me if you think you know what it is. Geez, my hand hurts now. Well, got to go!

I put the note down and looked at the artifact that (Y/N) said would be next to the note. I picked it up and it was a jewel. It was a dim lighting.

It wasn't lighting up when I didn't pick it up. Something is strange.

Duh Travis.

Shut up and leave me alone for a minute.

Fiiiine.

I started to think about the places (Y/N) would be. Then, I got an idea she would be with Emmalyn down in the place thingy where the statues are.

I ran out of the house and towards the stairs that led to the place. I spotted Emmalyn, (Y/N), Aphmau, Laurance, and Kenmur. Laurance and Aphmau were talking as the other three was looking around the cave/tunnel.

What is this place anyway?

I dunno, don't ask me.

I wasn't.

I walked over to (Y/N). "Hey." She turned around and smiled.

"Hey Trav. I finally get to be with the real you," She kissed me on the cheek. "But I know it's not gonna be long until he comes back."
