Rebecca's POV:
*Talon's Mom is Rebecca*
*Edward is Talons dad*
*Alex is Rebecca's husband that truly loves her*I miss my baby, but when I seen him in that store, I was so happy for him. He looked like he was doing well. Even with that girl. Erica, I think.
She was able to calm him down so well. And the way they looked at either, was like a couple in love.
"They look so in love. Your son has grown up so well." My Husband said, Alex. I nodded. He is. "I wish he believed me. But, I'm happy his well." I whispered.
"Um, I don't think its a bright time to mention this, but did you see the scars on his back, when he picked the girl up?" Alex said, hugging me.
I shook my head, "No, I didn't. What are they?" "Well, it looks like they are whip marks. I think his dad abuses him. There were fresh from not to long ago, and really old ones." He explained.
My eyes went wide in shock and Anger. "Bring me to Edwards house, now!" I screamed. Alex quickly grabbed the car keys, before bringing us to the car.
I told him the address, and he started the car, before taking off. I think he was just as mad as I was.
He swerved through traffic, trying to get there fast enough. After minutes of driving, more like speeding, we pulled up in front of a shaggy old house.
The roof of the house was sunk in, shingles were missing from the top. Boards of the steps were cracked, broke, or it was missing.
I opened the car door, before turning my head back to Alex. "Okay, I have a plan." My mind mapping it all out. I grabbed his phone and connected a call between us.
"I'm going to keep this call going, you will hear everything going on. While I'm inside, you will be listening to the call. If you hear me say help, or anything that sounds close to it, call the police."
He silently nodded, his eyes filled with fear and worry. He pulled me over the console and into his lap. "Please promise me you will be careful," he whispered, wrapping his arms around me.
"Of course." I replied, kissing his cheek, before climbing off of his lap, and out of the car. I stuffed the phone into my pocket, before heading up the steps to the door.
