We walked through the doors of the palace hand in hand, the men following right behind us.

“So Seph, what have you been up to lately? Maybe you were on a romantic adventure or a crusade! Wouldn’t that be exciting? Did you bring me back anything Seph?”

Now I knew why some of the men and Vladesca didn’t like her all that much. Underneath her beauty she was a freaking huge chatter box and all I wanted to tell her was ‘shut the hell up!’

“Well were I went, it wasn’t exactly, how do I put this?”

“Just spit it out already! Goodness you are such a chatter box.” I what a coincidence, I was thinking the same thing about you!

“Fine…I was in the human world, Living a normal life.” Her eyes grew wide and I heard a couple of gasps come from the perimeter of the room.



Was it that much of a problem that I was in the human world? whoa, hold on a minute. Did I seriously just say the 'human world'? It was still my world wasnt it? i mean I had only been gone for...I dont even know. How sad is that?



"Daddy, where did you go for so long?" Her little voice was like the jingle of beautiful christmas bells being shaken by angels.

I bent down to her level and starred into her cute little face that looked so much like my own.

"Yes sweet?"

"Where did you go Daddy? I missed you lots Daddy." She placed her small hands on my face and hugged me to her. 

I have known her for only twenty minutes and already she was wrapped around my heart, and pulling on my heart strings.

“I went to the other side of the world, baby girl.” I grabbed her little hands in one of my big ones and her eyes grew a little teary eyed.

“Don’t bother with the child, Seph. She isn’t worth your time anymore.” I looked up in to the woman’s eyes and found her to be growing uglier and uglier every time she spoke.

“What so you mean by that? She is not doing anything wrong.” I was starting to get more and more irritated with Clementina. Just her voice alone was wrecking everything in my world.

“She’s just a child; there is nothing special about her in the least. You are the king and you shouldn’t be squandering your very valuable time lifting up the hopes and dreams of petty children.” She stepped to the side and gave the little angle a death glare from under her brow.

“She is not just a child, she is my child whether you like it or not. Frankly I don’t care if you like it; it doesn’t matter to me at all. Why do you not like her so much anyways?” all I wanted to do was tell my men to take this irritating woman to the dungeon and have Vladesca by my side again.

“She is just an irritating child that I have had to put up with for the entire time you have been gone. Do you know how irritating it is to take care of a child?” oh please!

“I’m sure you didn’t do a lot of work by any means. There are servants crawling every corner of this place.”

She walked up to me and shoved her thin fingers in my face.
