I haven't seen Cadence for the past week or so, even at school. I have called and texted her repeatedly but nothing. Not even a simple hey. today is saturday, she said she would be back tomorrow. I hope she isn't hurt. I would die if anything would happened to her. I hope she is okay...

Cadence's pov

I haven't gone to school this whole week I knew they would be there. Romeo and Felix. I am scared of them. Romeo, he might come after me because Haily left him for me. And Felix he is always hurting the weak people. What hurts me the most is not being there for Haily I like her so much I can't help but worry for her, I hope she is okay. I have hidden at Rose's house all this week. She has been very sweet to me even though she knows my situation. I hate that I have to lie to Haily but my father knows her, I just need to lay low for the rest of the semester. But, today seems different. Rose's is going to some party tonight. she said that I can stay here for a while longer her parents plane home got canceled due to the weather. I quietly sit on my bed, reading a book called 'Something so much more'. "Hey Cadence! I'm going out now!" Rose yells from the stairs. Crap... "Umm, Okay! yea..." I yell back to her. I am worried, What if my father or Felix finds me? They have the power to do it. I don't know how, but they do. They know bad people I guess. I shake the filthy thoughts away. They won't find me here! Right? "Hey Cadence! I left ten bucks on the table! order pizza or something!" Rose voice echoes down the hall. "Okay! see you later then!" I yell back just in time, I hear the front door slam shut. Well, I will order some pizza I guess. I pick my phone up and dial the number, and call in my order. Well, then now that's over what now? Maybe some tv can calm my nerves. I turn on the television and start to watch a couple of tv shows. I soon grow bored of this activity and fall into a light, peaceful slumber.

!!!!Haily's pov!!!!!

"Finally a place to read!" I say out loud. I am home alone today my mom had a date this afternoon and didn't want to be late. Lucky for me, I get the rest of the house to myself for the rest of the day! But I do wish that Cadence was here to enjoy it with me. Oh, well. I continue to sit happily on the couch until i hear the doorbell ring. "Who could that be?" I say into the empty air. I cautiously open the door, finding Cadence's father dressed in dirty clothing. "Oh, hi sir! What brings you here?" I ask politely i look at his face trying to ignore his clothing. "Oh, sweet Haily! I was wondering if Cadence was here." He says sweetly. I see him look over my shoulder. I meet his brown eyes. "No sir, I haven't seen her but, you can try my friend's house. Her name is Rose. Actually, wait here let me write down the directions." I say. I turn and grab a slip of paper and write down the directions. I soon return back to the door. "here you go." I say as I hand him the slip of paper. He rips the paper out of my hands. "Thank you." he says quickly and runs down to his car and drives off. I wave at after him, closing the oak door. I wonder what all of that was about. oh well, nothing bad can happen. right? I soon hop back onto the couch and resume to my book.

Cadence's pov

I hear the door bell ring. oh! I wonder if my pizza is here! I scramble up and grab the ten bucks Rose left me. I open up the door. "Hey, sorry I forgot-Dad?" I look up to find my father standing there with a wicked smile across his face. "Hello Cadence." he says simply. "are you ready?" I stood there in shock "H-h-how did you find me?" I said in horror. Then out of no where he grabbed my arm. "Come on hon, just marry the poor boy. I want money so just marry him. then we can have anything we want!" he said blankly. I struggle under his grip. "No! I don't want to marry that fool! I can't!" I yell at the top of my lungs. I scream for my life, then I feel darkness biting at me. He put a cloth over my face. I tried to fight it him but I felt my legs start to fall asleep. What is in that cloth? Soon, I feel him drag me to his broken car. I feel the car move slowly gaining speed as I fall into a deep slumber.

* time skip current time 6:00 pm*

Opening my drowsy eyes I start to come too. What happened? The last thing I remember is getting thrown into my dad's car. I sit up on the dusty couch. "Hello?" I yell slightly my voice kind of raspy. "Why, hello Cadence dear. I am glad you are up we were about to start your wedding with out you! silly right?" My father laughs at his terrible joke. What the fuck? He grabbed my arm tightly and whispered into my ear. " You will marry this boy weather you like to or not, also, you will get me my money, because well you know I have to pay off my debt." I could feel his words loud and clear. I just put on a blank face as if I couldn't hear him. He pulled away from me and smiled a evil grin. I soon was dragged off of the couched onto the red carpeted floor. he pulled me up to my feet and pulled me along to an open door. I saw a golden cross right above us. Are we in a church? my thoughts soon were confirmed as I saw a priest by a podium and a weird boy. I could tell this church was really old it reeked of old people. I tried not to hurl. Looking around pews stood in the straightest of lines.I soon heard wedding music. fuck. I tried to release myself from my fathers grip. but, the grip he had on my arm was to strong. my poor arm was starting to change different shades of purple. "Come on you brat, you are so spoiled I mean look at your dress!" he whisper-yelled in my ear. I looked down to find myself in a wedding gown. It was a little tight at the chest area. My white skin looked awkward against the white. Well to be honest it was more yellow than white. I suddenly realized it was my mothers wedding dress. I cry out a little. my mothers wedding dress... I missed her so much. I finally get up to the platform. the wedding music ceased. The preacher started the ceremony. Soon, it came to the I do's. Felix grind with happiness. "Do you, Cadence, take this man to be your wedded husband?" the priest said. I looked straight onto Felix's eyes. " I don't." I say in a low voice. Felix's face turns into confusion. I soon bolt out the back door into the alley, the cooled air hits my chest and face. I start to run all the way to Haily's house.
