I was walking through the forest in my day dress, with a bow and arrow in my hands, ready to attack. I heard a twig snap and I quickly hid behind a tree. I took one deep breath and fired my arrow. It landed right on the target She was holding. "Well done, Hannah, I guess there's nothing more to teach you now," She said. I smiled and retrieved my bow from the target. "Hannah!" I heard some yell from a distance. "Your mom is probably waiting for us," She pointed out. We walked back to what was a castle and I see Mom there, in a gown. "Hannah, time to wake up," Mom told me. What the heck?

*end of the dream*

I shot right up when I heard my mom. What did I just dream about?  My dad comes into my room. "Hannah, darling, time to get up," he said.

You know, my dad's accent is really weird, its like a mixture of Irish with British, so I just call it Brirish. Woah, I just started to talk about my dad, gross. Anyways, I let go of the thought and got out of bed to get ready for school. I put on a button up blouse, with a grey sweater over it, a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, my worn out combat boots and my compass necklace. I cleaned out my room, grabbed my school bag and walked into the kitchen.

My mom was wearing her normal outfit: white tank top with her red leather jacket over it, some skinny jeans and boots. She was cooking us breakfast and my dad was trying to convince her to let him help and lets just say, it wasn't working.

"Come on, Swan, at least let me batter up the eggs," he complained.

"Not a chance, Killian, remember what happened last time you cooked?" she let out a laugh.

"Bloody hell, that was one time and I didn't even burn the kitchen down."

"No, but I needed a new pan," she smirked, lifting up the old, now burnt, pan.

I couldn't help but giggle at my parents' childish bickering. I should've laughed a little quieter because my parents turned around when they heard my laugh.

"Morning honey," my mom laughed, still in the kitchen.

"Good morning," I replied.

My dad comes up to me and embraces me, giving me a kiss on the top of my head.

"At least I got Hannah to wake up," my dad chuckled.

I still couldn't get the dream out of my head. I have been having continuous dreams like that same location, same people, but different like how do you say it, scenarios. I haven't told anyone about them because they're just dreams, they don't mean anything, at least, I hope they don't.

"What's on your mind, sweetheart?" asked Mom.

"Nothing Mom, just homework," I lied.

We all sat on the kitchen table, eating the pancakes Mom made, while I heard the bustling streets of New York City. I stared out the window, while my parents were having a conversation I had no intention of knowing about.

"Hannah, great news, your brother is coming to visit," Mom said, excitedly.

To be honest, I'm not happy that my brother is coming to visit. Henry is a stubborn brother who hasn't visited me since I was 9. Why in the world is he finally deciding to visit us now? When I needed him the most he "couldn't come".

"Wow, Mom, that's great, now he can finally explain why he hasn't visited in 7 years," I said, sarcastically. She gave a frustrated sigh and I don't blame her, she knows I don't like my brother for not speaking to us for 7 years, hell, he didn't even call, texted, or write like who does that? Apparently Henry.

"Honey..." but I didn't wanna hear it. I finished my breakfast, kissed both my parents on the cheek, grabbed my bag and left for school.
