The mean wind blows
And the old man knows
The tempest comes todayThe little ones cry
And the birds don't fly
The tempest comes todayThe quiet stopped
And the pressure dropped
The tempest comes todayThe beggars yell
And the tensions swell
The tempest comes todayThe lightning struck
And people ran amuck
The tempest comes todayPeople are dead
And now it's said,
"The tempest came that day."
