* Victoria's POV *
Ever since that night, dad's always either never came home or came home late, but either way we wouldn't be with him anymore...
Mom, Sherbet (my guide dog), and I have been happy together, I think. We have been sleeping, eating, playing, and pretty much having fun together. Even though we have fun I can tell that Mom's hiding her feelings... for me and it's not working. She's trying to be strong for me. "Why? Why would dad do that to you? Why aren't we a happy family? Does dad even love us?" As all of these questions began to form in my mind, the same bitter painful tears from the night that started all these problems came rolling down my face onto my Mother's soft warm hands.

* Andria's POV *
"SLAM!" was the sound I heard, made by the front door. Alert, cautious, and scared. I slowly get out of bed and feel my hand soaked in tears. I glanced at my terrified daughter who was trembling underneath the sheets. "Don't worry Victoria. Can I tell you a secret?" "Sure." she said as she began sniffling. "I'm scared too. Even though I don't seem to be, I am." "Really?" she asked. "Yup. I'll be back Victoria and I love you." I whisper while wiping the tears off of her tender face and hugging her tightly. I slowly move toward the door as I hear a familiar voice say "See babe my place is better than a hotel!". I couldn't believe it. It's him ...and another woman. The strong scent of alcohol filled the air as I opened the door. As I stepped out of my room, I felt the tears running down my face at the view of my "husband" making out with another woman. "Why?!" I scream as they pull away from each other to look at me. " My parents always told me to leave you cause they knew this would happen one day, but you know what?! I would always ignored them cause I thought you would never do that to me, but I was wrong! Why did you even bother showing your face here?!" I shouted " Because this is my house ! " As we kept arguing I saw the woman he brought home stand up and slowly walk out the house.

* Victoria's POV *

I could hear Mom and Dad arguing outside, each word getting louder and louder. I decided to go out there, even if I was scared. I got down from the bed and slowly guided my way to the door with my white stick. "Stop!" I yell at them. Suddenly the room went silent and could feel the tension in the air. "Give me ... my *hiccup* daughter!" my dad yelled as my mom began to push me into my bedroom. "Go to your room, i'll be in there in a minute." Mom whispered. I began to rush to my room as Mom closed the door, Sherbet immediately following me. I went into my closet cuddling Sherbet, while hearing my parents continue to argue... about me. I began to weep harder, Sherbet licking my tears. All of a sudden I heard no talking, but loud banging sounds.

* Andria's POV *

*BANG!* Allen threw his half-filled bottle of Vodka at me, sending me falling to the ground. I got up with tears in my eyes. *SLAP!* I slapped my angry out onto his face and pushed him onto the couch, leaving him in awe as I walked to Victoria's room. As I was in her room I searched for her. "Victoria, where are you?" I opened the closet. "There you are." I said with a smile and a hug. Victoria was sitting in the closet cuddling Sherbet. "Let's go." I said pulling her out of the closet. "We have to go. Start packing stuff you need, I'll be back." With that said I left her room and went around the house taking things we need. By the time I finished Victoria had already packed her and Sherbet's stuff. "Let's go." As we left the house I slammed the door closed and went into the car. In the reflection of my mirror I could see Allen wobbling to the car. *SMACK, SMACK* "Don't... leeaavee!" "Giveee ...me my ...daughter!", Allen began to smack and scream at the car as I was started the car. "N-Nooo!" "Come back!" "Crap.", those were the last word I heard from him. "Mom, where are we going?" "Somewhere your father isn't. Are you hungry?" "Yeah", I would like to think so since it was about 5 a.m. We went to the nearest place that sells food, which was Dipin' Donuts. While Victoria was eating I went outside to call my mom to see if we can stay at her place for a while. "Andria! Where's Victoria!" It was him...
