*Allyson's POV* Calm down Allyson. Breath in ... and out. I heard Victoria repeat the same thing. "Hey Vic are you okay?" I asked trying to comfort her. "Yeah...i'm fine." She mumbled. "Don't worry Vic. I know you're nervous for you're first day at new school, but you'll do great!" ... silence filled the air. "You really think so?" she said as she began fumbling with her her fingers. "I know so Vic! It's normal to have the butterflies in your stomach, everyone gets them. Even I do!" I said waiting patiently for the signal. "But you're a teacher there's nothing to be nervous about!" She said confused. "You don't have anything to worry about either!" I said as she stayed silent. *KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!* 3 quick knocks. It's time!
*Victoria's POV* Grandma Auntie Ally gave a good point. I'm glad I got to talk to her. All of a sudden I heard someone knock on the door. It was three quick urgent knocks. I waited a couple of seconds and finally decided to say something. "Thanks Grandma Auntie Ally. I actually feel a bit better!" "Don't worry my dear! If you ever need someone your Grandma and I are here for you!" She said happily. "Open you're hand." She said. I opened my hand and placed it on the surface of her desk. "Here is a box. Inside this box there's a necklace that your Grandma and I got you." she said as she placed the small box in the palm of my hand. I placed the box on the desk, stood up, and gave her a hug. "Thank you so much Grandma Auntie!" I said as a couple of tears rolled down my face. "Your welcome my dear, but i'm not the only one you have to thank." She looked me in the eyes and said "Don't cry my dear!" as she wiped the tears off my face. "Turn around." she said as she as she removed the necklace out of its box. She placed the necklace around my neck and turned me around. "You look beautiful. Let's go to your Grandma's classroom." She said as she grabbed my hand. We walked out of her room into the chilled hallway. We went to the room directly across.
When the door opened many voices shouted "Surprise!" it caught me off guard. "What is all of this for ?" I shouted beginning to tear up. "Since we never got to celebrate for Christmas or New Years this is your Holiday party!" A familiar voice said. "Mom is that you?!" I shouted with tears rolling down my face. "How'd you know dear?" Mom said as I ran right into her arms. "You didn't have to do this for me..." I whispered feeling sadness mix with my happiness. I wish I could see how beautiful everyone decorated and how beautiful the necklace is. Stop Victoria! Mom did all this so I could be happy not sad! "Thank you so much everyone!" I shouted wishing I could do something to show them my appreciation. Suddenly someone came behind me and pulled me into an embrace. "Grandma!" "Pumpkin!" We yelled as she picked me up and twirled me around and placed me on the ground. "Thanks Grandma!" "Bark Bark!" Is that who I think who it is?! "Sherbet!" I squealed as I bent down and he licked my tears away. "Once again thank you so much everyone. I wish I could pay everyone back because of how amazing you guys are!" Dad I wish you could see how happy I am. I wish we could be together as a happy family again, but I can't stop any of this happening. I hope your okay back at the house. I ...miss you.
The party didn't last too long, since staff had to get prepared for the students. Many people came up to me before they left, wishing me good luck, so I decided to stand next to the door and thank everyone there with Sherbet. The last person to leave was Mr. Saville. "Thank you so much for coming and helping out set up this party Mr. Saville!" "No more sir?" He said with a giggle. "See you and Sherbet around the school!" He shouted as he walked out the door. "Wait what do you mean?!" She yelled but by then he was gone. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
