Chapter Four

"Congratulations! Eek! I'm so excited that your in Gryffindor!" Lily practically yelled at Kely for, most likely, the hundredth time as the two followed their prefects to the tower that held common room.

The Gryffindor's had they're own tower, which was pretty cool. Kely loved Hogwarts so far, the food was great and everyone was nice to her, so far.

"Yeah I wonder why you didn't get into Slytherin like Snivellus and the rest of your family. So are you two like cousins, or brother and sister? 'Cause you don't really look alike." A voice spoke from behind Kely.

"I'm going to head up to the common room, I need some rest." Lily said turning to the other Gryffindor gi. "The password is Nitwick. I heard a prefect telling a third year. I'll meet you in our dorm."

Kelly nodded then said, "Amis pour toujours." Lily nodded her head and walked up the stairs towards the common room.

"Friends Forever."

Kely turned around and saw Sirius along with James and two other boys. One of the boys looked timid and scared, he was also a little robust. The other had his nose in a book called The Unwanteds, he had sandy blonde hair and looked uninterested at what his friends were doing at the moment. Black was the one who had translated the French.

"How did you know that?" Kely asked him, looking him in the eyes.

"I know what 'forever' means in French and you and Lily are friends. So I put two and two together." Black replied.

"Huh, didn't think you could put two and two together." Kely said aloud as Sirius look like a hurt puppy.

"So you and Snivellus. Are you cousins, siblings...? I don't understand how you got into Gryffindor yet he's in Slytherin." The potter Potter said.

"Well the sorting hat put me in Gryffindor, and like you I seemed to have broken family tradition. And Sev and I are twins, though we may not look it." Kely spoke calmly to Sirius even though she wanted to scream at him. Her blood boiled as she heard her brother's horrible nickname. He had the nerve to come talk to he after what happened on the train?

"We got off on the wrong foot." He said. "I think we should get to know you better. Let's start over shall we?" He said and held out his hand for me to shake. Kely eyed it carefully mulling it over in her head.

He called Severus, Snivellus. He spoke about my family. And he is a Black, why should I trust him? She thought to herself. He probably thought that Sev was an evil person since he was in Slytherin, but Kely could have easily been in Slytherin if she had wanted. He didn't know about her family, so how could he know? And he did prove himself not to be like his family that Kely, had heard all about.

Kely looked at his hand for a few more seconds and then shook it. Maybe if she just knew a little more about them she could do what She had in mind and maybe they were nicer than they let on.

"Fine, but don't be mean to my brother, it's not like he's done anything to you." Kely said quietly after she broke away from his shake.

"This is Remus." Sirius said, ignoring Kely's statement and pointed at the boy reading the book.

At the mention is his name, Remus looked up from his book. "Hello. My name is Remus Lupin." He said, Kely realized that he was reading one of her favorite books by Lisa McMann, although she was an American writer she loved her books.

"Hi I'm Kely. What part are you at?" Kely asked him. He looked at me confused. "Your book, what part are you at?" Kely asked him once more, pointing towards the book.

"Oh I'm re-reading it, I love this series so much. I know it's a muggle book, but that's the best part. I'm on chapter twenty." Remus told Kely holding up the book.

"Oh I love that series! I wasn't able to read anything past Island of Legends, because I wasn't able to get the next book. It's one of my favorite series." She told him. He was reading Island of Graves, the next book of the series.

Sirius, James, and the other boy have the two funny looks while they talked.

"What?" Kely asked glaring at them."I like books."

"Okay then. Well this is Peter." James informed her as he chuckled and pointed towards the timid boy.

"H-hello. I'm Peter P-Pettigrew." He said avoiding any eye contact.

"Hi Peter! I'm Kely Snape." She told him cheerfully. He smiled, but still avoided eye contact. Something told Kely he was not the bravest of the group.

The four walked towards Gryffindor tower talking about random things, when out of the blue Sirius asked Kely a question.

"So Kely, what did you do to get expelled from school?" He asked. No one knew, only the headmistress at Beaxbatons knew, and she had promised not to tell anyone.

"That is my business, and my business only." Kely told him looking ahead.

"But if we are going to be friends you have to tell us." James told her.

Kely glared daggers at them both."Let's put it this way. Not even Lily and Sev know why I was expelled, neither do the professors here. So please don't ask me anything about it, I might tell you at one point. If ever." Kelt mumbled the last part. They then dropped the subject.

"So are you a goody-two-shoes or are you like a prankster?" James asked Kely, changing the subject.

"I'll put it this way; I get straight O's, I read a lot, and I know what a library is." She told him with a smirk.

"Oh so we have another Remus on our hands." Sirius said."A goody-two-shoes who has never gotten a detention in her life and probably obeys all the rules, likes to read, top of the class, secret prankster, loves homework." Kelyfroze, but then immediately relaxed.

She wondered if he knew, but he couldn't know. No one knew. She shrugged it off and said, "Yeah sure, but I never said I was a prankster. I don't even know how to pull a prank off."

"We have oh so much to teach you my dear." Sirius and James said at the same time.

The five got back to the common room where a painting of a fat lady in a pink dress was awake."Password?" She asked in a bored tone, apparently she had been asking this all night.

"Nitwick." Kely said politely . The portrait swung back to reveal a passageway towards the common room.

"Thank you."Kely told the her kindly. Kely, Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter walked through the portrait hole towards the common room.

The common room was round and decked in red and gold colors. There was a welcoming fireplace with a table and a sofa behind it, and there was a sofa at the back of the room while there were also few chairs here and there. There were two stairways, one led to the girls dormitories and the other led to the boys dormitories.

"Well it was nice meeting you all, but I am going to head up to bed. Goodnight." Kely told them as she walked towards the girls dormitories.
