Chapter 12

I was taking a walk in the woods when I heard a crunch. I turned around and saw it was only Jean.
"What are you doing out here?" We asked in unison then laughed.
"Ok. I'll go first. I just wanted to take a walk." I told her. I was a horrible liar so she knew I was telling the truth.
"I was looking for Scott. I couldn't find him." My heart felt like it stopped. My brother where was he. I was getting nervous. I knew tears ran down my face.
"I'll help you find him." I told her. She nodded her head. I mean I knew she would look for him she had a thing for him. 😏. I ran with her. After running a few miles. I saw Scotties silver necklace he always wore on the ground in blood. I screamed. Jean pulled me to her while I cried into her shoulder. We decided to keep going. After a few miles we saw him. He had a scratch mark against his shirt and was not breathing. I bent down to his side. I stroked his hair crying.
"Scottie." I saw him start to breath. I sighed in relief. I saw his eyes open and he stood up. I cried into his stomach.(since he was way taller than me.) I kept telling him how I was so worried.
"What happened?"
"There was a human well mutant. He had long metal claws. He came after me. I don't think he could control it." Jean and I made an O face. We headed back to the mansion. We took Scottie to my daddy and my dad told us to leave him. We did as told and went back to the main hall. We told everyone what happened and they all were relieved.
