Once again, here is another song by the Gaither Vocal Band that hits a very sensitive spot for some of us, myself included. We always wonder why the Lord brings us to these difficult times in our lives, yet we fail to see that He has brought us to this place in order to simply draw us closer to Him when He sees that we are drifting farther and farther away from Him. Sometimes we lose faith in the power of God and what He is truly capable of, and it may "Sometimes Take A Mountain" to bring us back to that place of complete trust and surrender in the Lord. Praying that this song touches your heart as much as it has mine, and that it may help those of you struggling through a difficult situation in your lives. This song can also be found on YouTube, so you may listen while you read if you desire to. Sadly, this will be my last update before i head off to camp for this week, but know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you all! i also ask that you please keep myself and those attending the youth camp in all of your prayers that the Lord will move in a mighty way among us through these next couple of services and that what we receive from Him, we will take back to our Home churches with us and continue to bless others. Love all of you so so much! Have an amazing week!

I faced a mountain,
That I never faced before
That's why I'm calling on the Lord
I know it's been awhile,
But Lord please hear my prayer
I need you like I never have before.
Chorus:
Sometimes it takes a mountain
Sometimes a troubled sea
Sometimes it takes a desert
To get a hold of me
Your Love is so much stronger
Then whatever troubles me
Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe
Forgive me, Jesus
I thought I could control
Whatever life would throw my way
But this I will admit
Has brought me to my knees
I need you Lord and I'm not ashamed to say
(Repeat chorus)
Sometimes it takes a mountain
Sometimes a troubled sea
Sometimes it takes a desert
To get a hold of me
Your Love is so much stronger
Then whatever troubles me
Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe
Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe
