Chapter 2.

Imani's P.O.V

I woke the next morning at 7:30 to do my morning routine which was take a shower, brush my teeth, get dressed then run down stairs grab an apple then get in my BMW convertible which I bought with my own money that I saved from working at a diner.

When I got to school I noticed most of the kids from our pack already here I put on my sunglasses and started walking to the front doors. As I was walking to the doors I smelled a beautiful sent it smelled like axe with the leaves in the middle if spring. I just ignored the smell and went straight to my class.

Marcus's P.O.V

First day of school finally, eve though I kind of like school I'm still glad 'it's going to end soon.

I got up and got ready to go to school, I put on I plain black t-shirt with dark blue jeans. I went downstairs and got greeted by many people since I am the alpha. I ate breakfast then got on my motorcycle and drove off to school. when I got there I smelled the most amazing sent of vanilla and mint. Couldn't see the person because there were so many of my pack members crowding my bike.

After my first class I was walking in the halls when I started smelling that scent again I ran after the scent into the library. I walked in to see the most beautiful girl reading a book in the library. I looked closer to see that it was Imani. I never really talked to her but I knew the pack picked on her because she never shifted.

She looked up and saw me walking towards her. She got up and walked straight up to me, she was so close I could feel her breath on my lips. No one said a word I was Juarez taking in her beauty. I did what I always wanted to do since I seen her. I kissed her.

It was the most amazing kiss ever. It felt so good to have her lips on mine every second. we finally pulled apart an I noticed what I did, I can't be with her yet my dad wants me to be with a powerful mate someone who can be our Luna not a wolf that can't even shift.

She started to notice my sad expression.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"We can't be together yet"

I started to see her face turn from a happy face to a sad smile. It broke my heart just looking at her sad.

"I get it, its because I can't shift. A lot of people don't like me for that reason."

"I'm sorry its just my dad wants me to be with someone strong and I can't do that to my girlfriend, but once I get it sorted out I'm all your."

"So you want me to pretend like we're not mates because you don't have enough balls to tell your dad and your girlfriend that You found your mate yet" she said while getting angry.

"Please just for at least 1 month" I begged.

"Fine. You have one month if in one month you don't tell them then I am rejecting you"

She hen grabbed her stuff the walked out of the library.
