Open Your Eyes- Bea Miller
(Levi's P.O.V.)
"Near, this is my friend, Levi Ackerman." Hanji said, pulling a blonde and red haired girl along along.
"Hello... welcome to my party..." The girl said, her blue-gray eyes shinning lightly with excitement.
"...hello..." I said before walking off hearing Hanji tell 'Near' that I was just a meanie shortie ass. I snorted. Hanji's little sister was shorter than me.(Near's P.O.V)
<this is what Near looks like>"Everyone, time to sing happy birthday to the birthday girl!" Zoe yelled, setting a cake with sixteen crazily shaped candles on it. I let a small giggle out. Zoe smiled at me and kissed my forehead.

She was my sister and my best friend. Our mom died giving birth to me. Our dad died to a heart attack when I was nine. I've never was the same after. I also have heart problems, and Zoe doesn't, which to I'm glad.
"Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy birthday, Dear Near,
Happy Birthday to you!" Everyone sang for me. I smiled and tears slowly slipped past my eyes.
"I love you guys." I sniffed. Mike chuckled and ruffled my hair.
"Come on, Little one. Make a wish." Mike smiled. I nodded to my friend and thought. My eyes flickered past everyone and found a disinterested person staring back into my eyes. Levi. I knew what I wished for.
When I blew out the candles, everyone cheered and cake and icecream began. Most people gave me anime related things and my sister got me a new piano yesterday. This is the best pool party ever. When that was done, everyone dispersed to go change to swim.
I went to my room and changed into a black one piece, a fairy tail emblem on the stomach area. You could tell I was a huge nerd.
I grabbed my blue and orange beach ball as I left. When I got to the pool, everyone was having a lot of fun. I almost didn't want to interupt.
"D-Does anyone want to play water ball with me?" I called out meekly.
"Hey, shit heads. Near asked a question." The unmistakable voice of Levi yelled out. Everyone went quiet to listen.
"D-Does anyone want to play water ball?" I called out again. Slightly hiding behind the beach ball. Then Petra yelled out,"LET'S DO THIS!"
I smiled and jumped in, beginning the game.(Levi's P.O.V)
I watched the brat having fun. She seemed to be the center of attention now. Once everyone noticed her, they opened their eyes to her fun. I sighed as I sat on the side, watching Near as she smiled widely. She was on a team with Petra and Petra was having a hard time swimming and playing. Near was smiling and helping Petra as much as she could. I must admit, the brat was a good swimmer.
All of a sudden Petra screamed and jumped on Near's smaller figure.
Near went under and came back up gasping for air, but Petra pushed downwards to stay above the water. I jumped in and pulled the girls apart. Mike pulled Petra out and I pulled Near out.
The blonde/redhead in my arms continued to cough. Hanji was freaking out, patting Near's back roughly. Near swatted Hanji's hands away.
"Is Petra okay?" Near asked.
"Do you not get it?" I growled impatiently," You nearly drowned." Near shut up and looked down before rushing to a trash can and coughing more water out. I flinched when she coughed a bit of blood out.
Hanji began to kick people out, cleaning up. I changed, but came back out to help Near go to her room.
