Then School

(Levi's P.O.V)
I've been coming to Hanji's and Near's place, ever since the party, after school and staying til nine or ten at night. It's not bad when I stay here. Sure, Hanji goes batshit crazy sometimes, but Near is always there and she tells Hanji to 'hush up, science.' It's kinda funny the way Near puts it.
When Near got used to me being around, she wasn't a quiet or shy. Near was actually a pretty dramatic person. Most weekends, if I want to find Near, I can find Near in the music room.
These two make a lot of money from Hanji's part time work and Near's music videos and books.
I was kinda shocked when I walked in on Near recording her singing in a high class recording microphone.
I always walked with Near back to their house. Sometimes, Near would come home gloomy. But today was diffrent.

"Hurry up, brat." I sighed, looking to my right. Near was fumbling with her locker and doing a terrible job of hurrying up. I sighed and was about ready to say something when Near suddenly broke down into tears. She leaned on her locker and I stood there, not knowing what to do.
"Who did this to you." I demanded.
"J-just some b-bullies..." Near sniffed. I growled and turned Near around. She had to have been crying all day long. Her cheeks were red and there were tear stains from her blue-gray eyes down her cheeks.
"Tell me, Near." I was going to beat up whoever did this.
"Johnathan, Jeremy, and Peter..." Near said, tears spilling past her eyes again. I narrowed my eyes and then widdened. Near had a split lip and multiple bruises on her arms. I pulled up her teal short-sleeved shirt and saw more bruises on her stomach.
"I'll kill them." I said instantaneously. Her eyes widened and I ran off to find the boys. They should just be getting out of football practice.
I heard Near's quiet footsteps following me. She never ran, but she seemed be walking fast.

(Near's P.O.V)

I followed behind Levi. He got quite a bit ahead of me, so when I came onto the football field, I saw all four of them bruised and bloodied.
"Don't ever touch or go near Near again." Levi growled. The three boys ran off and I walked quickly over to Levi.
He was wiping blood from his lip when I got there. I grabbed his hand and sat him on the bench, beginning to clean up the places where he was bleeding.
"This might hurt..." I told him as I dabbed his wounds with an Alcohol wipe. He hissed in pain and pushed me away.
"I'm fine, Near." Levi growled, shaking his head. I sighed, holding his head in my hand.
"Levi. Let me take care of you." I told him, beginning to dab at more wounds. Then I applied bandaids to the areas. Levi sighed and got up, grabbing my hand and pulling me along, heading towards my place.
"Those brats shouldn't bother you any more." Levi said, still holding my hand as we walked. I smiled lightly and felt heat rush to my face.
