later that day... (10:28 pm to be exact)

"goodnight mom" i said as i closed my bedroom door

except i wasn't going to sleep just yet

yoongi had sent me a message at 9:49 pm but i hadn't been able to read it

hopefully he's still awake

yoongi: hey.

yoongi: it's okay if you don't want to tell me your name, yet

yoongi: nobody really texts me and i low-key miss your texts so i'm gonna let it slide for now

jiyeong: that's nice, who would've known you're a loner

yoongi: k, bye

jiyeong: no wait, don't leave, it was a joke

yoongi: don't joke with me

jiyeong: sorry

jiyeong: can't promise i won't do it again tho ;-)

yoongi: ...

jiyeong: okay then, how was your day?

yoongi: eh

yoongi: today was just a big 'why'

jiyeong: sAME FAm, i totally get you

jiyeong: today was full of embarrassment for me

jiyeong: all i do is embarrass myself

yoongi: why?

jiyeong: idk, it just happens

jiyeong: the best [worst] part of today was that the person i like glared at me 80% of the day :-)

jiyeong: truly a marvelous day

i hit the lock screen button and put my phone on my nightstand

ok

pretty sure he fell asleep or something

it is late so it's very reasonable

or maybe he found me annoying lol
