Kariana Cardoza is a junior at southwest high school. Life is good she isn’t the most popular girl in school but that doesn’t matter she has her boyfriend of two years  hector, and  her best friends Alyssa, Jade, Sapphire, and Serenity. Now Kariana isn’t a perfect angle she has quiet a reputation at school ( she isn’t a slut or anything she is just known for not putting up with peoples shit. Her and her friends aren’t the school ‘s bad girls they just get into some trouble here and the and they know how to stick up for themselves) But what happens one day when she goes to the park with hector , Alyssa and  her cousin Carlos ( who is also Alyssa’s boyfriend they have been dating since they were in 7th grade ) and witness a brutal murder. Once they tell the police the police force Kariana , Hector , Alyssa and Carlos to move back to were Kariana use to live when she was in 5th grade. At first she was excited of course she would miss her old friends, her siblings, and of course her mom and dad but it was only temporally and plus she had Hector, Alyssa ,and Carlos to make it better. She really wanted to see her old friends she missed her old friends. Kariana, Hector , Alyssa , and Carlos made a pack to stay together no matter what . Her and Hector also made a pack to not let anyone or anything come between them . But what happens when she meets her old best friend Kayla’s cousin Ryder who is also the school’s bad boy and just happens to be best friends with her old child hood crush Luke Walter . Will she fall for Ryder and risk telling him everything about why she really moved back and risk putting him in harms way knowing that anyone who knows about the murder could become an easy target to the killer until they catch him  and listen to what her heart says and brake her pack with Hector or will she stay with Hector and ignore all the feelings and jolts of electricity she feels when Ryder touches her? But along the way she discovers that Ryder has secrets of his own.
